Max Factor Haul!

Hello guys!

I recently picked up a few bits from Max Factor. You all know by now that I love makeup surprisebags, so when my local perfumery had a Max Factor bag for 250NOK with a value of 1000NOK, I just had to get one! Each bag had 6 items and I picked one at random...

Here are all the items I got! I was very excited to see the Max Factor CC cream in the bag, but unfortunatley, it's in the shade 69 Medium and is too dark... I think I'm going to try it again in the summer, or maybe if I get the job at Walt Disney I might get a tan from the Florida sun! Then I got a Max Effect Mini Nailpolish in the shade 38 Purple Haze which is very pretty! I have it on my nails right now, hehe!

Here you can see the CC Cream to the left. Clearly a little too dark!
Then I got a lipstick in the shade 630 Eternal Flame which is very pretty, and a Wild Shadow Pot in the shade 60 Brazen Charcoal which is also very pretty, but I haven't gotten to try it properly!

I also got two mascaras! The top one is the Wild Mega Volume Volumising Mascara in Black. The wand seems okay, but not as good as I'd like. Also the formula is a little wet for me, so I'm going to let it dry a little and see if it works better then. The same problem I have with the second mascara, which is the Eye Brightning Tonal Black Volumising Mascara for Brown Eyes. Not a huge fan of that wand either, even though I tend to perfer plastic-wands. But I'll let it sit for a while to let the formula get drier and hopefully it'll work better then :)

That was all I got people! If you want a review of anything just let me know!

Bye guys!

What's in my Travel Makeup Bag - What I'll Actually Take with Me

I know I've kind of done this post before. But then I looked through the stuff I was going to bring and I decided to change it up. Yeah, I know, I'm indecisive. Runs in my family I've heard haha =)

Anyways, now I'm not going to change anything as we leave in two days, so I'm showing you guys my makeup bag! Again... You can read what I was initially taking with me in THIS POST and what my travel palette originally looked like HERE.

I had to upgrade to a slightly bigger makeup bag as I'm not bringing a palette in my handbag like I was thinking about in the beginning. This is by Clarins.

It holds a lot of stuff!

Here are the eyeshadows I'm now bringing! The bottom square eyeshadows are from ArtDeco, the three matte shades to the right are from IsaDora and the rest are ELF Custom Eyes.

ELF Custom Eyes Swatches!
Navy - Sage - Ivory - Wheat
Wisteria - Periwinkle - Driftwood - Aubergine - Moon Dust.

I swear, if ELF had any matte Custom Eyes I could do with just these, but I mean, you need a little matte action as well, right...

On top are the eyeshadows from IsaDora.
Black from Smokey Eyes palette.
Skintone and Matte Brown from Matte Chocolates palette.
ArtDeco Shadows: 04 - 258 - 527 - 235

Then I'm bringing my ELF St. Lucia Blush/Bronzer Duo as well as the ELF Studio Blush in Peachy Keen.

Peachy Keen - Blush and Bronzer from the Duo.

I felt like I needed a little bit of options so I'm bringing these two blushes instead of the ArtDeco ones from my Travel Palette.

Here are the lipproducts I'm bringing in my makeup bag.
Hawaiian Tropic SPF25 Island Berry Lipgloss
IsaDora Twist-Up Stick - 08 Red Romance
ELF Lipstick - Seductive
MNY by Maybelline - 802A

Swatchtime!
Hawaiian Tropic - IsaDora - ELF - MNY

And here are the dace things I'm bringing! I might leave one of the Tone Correcting Concealers at home as I've decided to bring the Garnier Roll-On.
ELF Tone Correcting Concealer - Ivory & Rosy Beige
ELF Clarifying Pressed Powder - Ivory
Max Factor Miracle Touch Liquid Illusion Foundation - 45 Warm Almond
And the little pot contains a bit of my ELF Mineral Infused Face Primer just in case I feel like wearing a primer if we go out or something.

More eye-stuff!
ELF Liquid Liner - Black
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil - Milk
Maybelline ColorSensational Lip Liner - 440 Coral Fire
IsaDora Build-Up Extra Volume Mascara
Me Now Generation II Perfect Eye/Lip Liner Pencil - Green from a set of 12
Lumene Beauty Base Eyeshadow Primer
L'oreal Paris Contour Kohl - Black

Bringing a little sponge and my Beauty Blender.

Then I'm bringing some tools like my H&M Eyelash Curler, ELF Duo Sharpner, tweezers a little spray with some brush cleanser. Also my Eucerin Anti-Redness SPF15 Moisturizer.

That was all! I will stop bothering me with the makeup I'm going to bring haha!

Thanks for reading, guys =)

Overview - My Makeup Collection in Pictures!

I was talking to a friend of mine about how much makeup I have, since I've been giving away 50 makeup items and 24 brushes and I'm about to give away 10 more brushes and 3 makeup items to said friend, so I told her I had ALOT of makeup, probably more than I'll ever need, so here are some pictures of my collection!

On the right side of my desk I have these letter-organizers with 7 palettes in them. They used to hold 9, but I've given two away.

Here's my 10 Blush Palette, 15 Concealer Palette and ELF Beauty Encyclopedia for Eyes. Both the blushpalette and the concealerpalette I got off eBay, so they're not by a brand.

Then there's my Manly 120 Palette with a wide range of colors in it. I also had the Sersell 88 Natural Palette and the 88 Shimmer Palette in here, but they've been given away as I like the 120 palette better.

Then there's my MAC palettes which does  not hold any MAC Eyeshadows. To the left is my DIY Vacation-Palette which you can read more about HERE, as well as two more with random eyeshadows and such in them.

In my desk there's several drawers, and this is one of them. Smaller palettes, and a few gel liners, a black eyeshadow and a little Gosh Duo and more.

Here's the content of my smaller palettes.
Top Row L-R
IsaDora Matte Chocolates Palette, ELF Custom Eyes, ELF Custom Eyes
Bottom Row L-R
Max Factor, MAC, ArtDeco, Oriflame Blush, Visions Pearl Shimmer Highlighter

Then there's my foundation/BB Cream/Concealer drawer which is placed inside a cabinet on my wall.
Contains foundations and BB Creams from Max Factor, Skin79, Holika Holika, Maybelline, Garnier, H&M, MUA, L'oreal and IsaDora, as well as concealers from ELF, Garnier and Viva la Diva.

My drawer of powders, blushes, highlighers and bronzers are next!
Powders from Kubiss and ELF.
Blushes by ELF, L'oreal and Music Flower
Bronzer by IsaDora, L'oreal and ELF
Highlighters by ELF and Skin79

Then there's my crazy liner and base-drawer.
Bottom left has lipliners from all kinds of brands; ELF, L'oreal, Max Factor, Maybelline, eBay and more, which the Bottom Right drawer has eyeliners from the same brands and also IsaDora and probably more there too.
Top left has eyeshadow primers and bases from Hema, ELF, Etude House and more, and the last section has liquid liners from different brands as ELF and L'oreal ++

Then there's my eyeshadow drawer. In the back I have some sponges, and a little section with ELF and some other brands. Then there's the left drawer which has my L'oreal Infalliable Eyeshadows, IsaDora Mineral Eyeshadows and Miners Dip'n'Define eyeshadows. Last box has H&M Dip eyeshadows, Viva la Diva, IsaDora, ELF and even more stuff.

Then in my little drawer-sections from IKEA, named Helmer I have this drawer filled with lipstick and tube-glosses. There's ELF, IsaDora, Maybelline, Gema, Viva la Diva and more.

Back to my desk where I have this basket with my everyday-stuff. Again; ELF, IsaDora, L'oreal, Wet n Wild, YSL, Nivea, Missha, Garnier, Gosh, H&M etc.

Also on my desk I have this little DIY-project with lipglosses. On the top I have some mini's by Miners, then middle left are my H&M Lipglosses, then the middle right and bottom right are by Pierre Rene, and the two other from are miscellaneous brands.

On a rack righ next to my desk I have the bottom shelf filled with makeup brushes, again random brands; Sigma, ELF, Joursna and eBay.

On the same rack but on the top shelf I have all my nailpolishes. H&M, Viva la Diva, ELF and more H&M, haha. I really love H&M nailpolishes!

And then, at last, on the top of my Helmer drawer-set I keep my lipbalms in the back and perfumes on a tray in front. Parfumes from Kimmi Fragrance, Escada, Calvin Klein, Jean Paul Gautlier, Versace and some random small ones and samples.

Phuufh, that was a huge post with a lot of pictures! But I really like watching makeup collection posts and videos, so if you have one too, let me know and I'll check it out =)
If you would like a more depth post or video with my Makeup, Nail Polish or Parfume Collection, then let me know! I've been thinking about doing an Updated Makeup Collection Video for a long time, but when I filmed it it didn't look right, it was dark and then I ended up giving away a lot of stuff I didn't use, so maybe I'll use the footage for a before/after video.

If you see anything you would like a review on then let me know that too!

Anyways, thank you so much for sticking with me through this enormous post, and I hope you enjoyed! I would really apprechiate it if you'd like to follow my blog which you can do through Google Friend Connect to your right. Thanks again!

My Vacation-Palette

On the 17th of July I'm going to Gran Canaria, Spain, and since it's still a month, and I can't wait to go I decided to make the vacation-palette I have had in mind.

For my palette I've used this MAC 15 Pro Palette which I've taken the separator out of so I can fit whatever I want in there.

On the inside I've but blushes, eyeshadows and my powder so I have all my powder-products in the same place. And if you were wondering, I'll have this in my carry-on when we board the plane since I don't want any of this to shatter.

The Powder I'm bringing is by Kubiss Cosmetics, and it's their Face Powder in the shade 1 Translucent. As you can see that thing is huge with 17grams of product!

These eyeshadows are all by ArtDeco, and they are pre-magnetized which is great!
L-R are the colors:
527, 235, 84, 49, 638 and 258.
These eyeshadows are really soft and pigmented, and there's a good variety of colors.

Then I have some more neutral shades, like a matte black and a light matte brown.
L-R, the colors are:
Oriflame Pure Colour Duo Eyeshadow - Harvest Browns 3286
Matte Black from the IsaDora Smokey Eyes Palette
Matte Brown from the IsaDora Matte Chocolates Palette
The white shimmery eyeshadow is from Max Factor, but I don't have the name.

Then I'm bringing this ELF Brightning Eye Color Quad in Drama which has all the colors I need for a nice smokey-eye.

For my blushes I'm bringing these which, again, are my ArtDeco. The top shade is a matte peachy-shade (16) and the other is a light rosy color with a teeny bit of shimmer (24). As the eyeshadows, these have magnets on the bottom. The blushes are alot more pigmented than they seem in the swatches, too!

That was my Vacation-Palette, guys! I'll also do posts on the brushes I'm bringing and the other makeup such as foundation and stuff. I hope you liked this post, and if you did, you can like it on facebook at the top, or follow my blog =)

Makeup Products I've Hit Pan On!

As of right now, the products in the picture below is what I've hit pan on, or I'm almost running out of, even if there's no pan to hit as with the foundations and such. I have previously hit pan and used up several other products, but these are the ones I currently have.

My assembly of products I'm running out of.

For the face-products first. I'm so close to the end of my IsaDora Perfect Cover Stick which you can see on top. It's part of my project 30 pan, but once I got to where it is now, it doesn't seem to go lower, no matter how I use it! Then there's the H&M Silk Smooth Foundation. It's really cheap, but it's surprisingly good, and it doesn't break me out. The color I have is the lightest avaliable, but it is quite dark. The other one is a Skin79 BB Cream-sample thingy that's almost gone. I think there's one or two more applications left, and it's going in an empties-video!
On the bottom is the rest of my ELF Essentials Blush in Glow. I hit pan so bad it was really hard and time-consuming to get any more product out, so I smashed it up and put it in a little jar. Seems it got more pigmented too, as it's easier to pick up the product.

Here are the two ELF-eyeshadows I've hit pan on. To the left is the ELF Duo Eyeshadow in Black Licorice and to the right is the ELF Brightning Eye Color Quad in Drama which is basically a smokey-eye palette. On the bottom is a Maybelline ColorSensational Lip Liner in the color 440 Coral Fire. The lipliner is geat, because you can turn it red by applying a red gloss or orange by putting an orange gloss on top.

Then I've also hit pan on a few more eyeshadows. The highlighter shade to the left is by Max Factor, but I was stupid and didn't save the name when I depotted it. It's just a standard skin-tone shade with a sheen but no visible shimmer. The brown eyeshadow is from my NYC Metro Quartet-palette in sandbar, and it's the right one of the two brown-shades in the palette. The other one I've also used up. Then the palette is Wet n Wild's Comfort Zone palette!

Here's my Manly 120 Eyeshadow palette, and the matte white eyeshadow in the corner is the only one I've hit pan on. As a very fair-skinned girl I can get away with a stark white highlight, hehe. Then the skintoned-color is from my Sersell 88 Natural Palette, and so is the black shade.

Is it obvious that I LOVE hitting pan? When you have so much makeu it just feels amazing!

Then there's these. These are a few products that I'm so close to hitting pan on, but it's just not all the way there yet. Left to right is my ELF Complexion Perfection (now Tone Correcting Powder) in Cool, ELF Duo Cream Eyeshadow in Black Licorice and the white color in the palette you can't really tell, but there's a huge dent in it! It's by Max Factor, but again, I don't have the shade name/number. The Tone Correcting Powder I've previously used up another before, as well as other powders from ELF as well!

That was all the stuff I'm close to using up!
Thank you so much for reading, guys.
What did you hit pan on last?

Overview - My Foundations

This is part 1 of 2 parts. The next part will be Overview - My BB Creams! Look out for that, it will hopefully be posted in not too long!

Here are my foundations.
ELF Mineral Foundation - Light (0.01oz / 2.84g)
Max Factor Miracle Touch Liquid Illusion Foundation - 45 Warm Almond (0.40oz / 11.5g)
L'oreal Matte Morphose Soufflé Foundation - 110 Rosy Ivory (0.68oz / 20ml)
H&M Silk Smooth Foundation - 10. Pastel Beige (1oz / 30ml)
IsaDora High Performance All-Day Foundation SPF 12 - 00 Diamond Beige (1oz / 30ml)
Maybelline SuperStay 24H SPF 19 - 010 Ivory (1oz / 30ml)

These swatches are without flash inside.

L-R
ELF Mineral Foundation
L'oreal Matte Morphose Foundation
Max Factor Miracle Touch Liquid Illusion Foundation
IsaDora High Performance Foundation
Maybelline SuperStay 24H Foundation
H&M Silk Smooth Foundation

These are taken inside with a flash.

In all of these foundations I have the lightest shade avaliable where I live. You can clearly tell some of the shades (H&M) are a lot darker than some of the others. I can make these work around the year, and I wouldn't say either of these are full coverage, but I don't need it. They are all slightly buildable, and all drugstore-foundations here in Norway.

IsaDora is a Swedish brand, so I don't know if it is widely avaliable around the world, but I think you can get it online. This one is my favourite I think. It has a dewy finish when applied, but it dries down a bit. I like to wear a powder over it, but unless you have oily skin, I don't think it's really necessary. This is pretty yellow-toned which you can see in the swatches. Great thing: it has SPF. Just SPF 12, but still, it's better than nothing which is what I usually use! This is also the lightest and the best match from my skin, with the exeption of the mineral foundation.

Speaking of the mineral foundation from ELF, I wish it had more coverage. I mean, it's basically a powder with a tint to it, I don't think it covers very well at all, even if I use my ELF Powder Brush with it. I've ordered the ELF Mineral Powder Brush, so we shall see if that makes a difference, but I doubt it as it is a very fluffy brush.

L'oreal Matte Morphose foundation is great for just slapping on. As it has a mousse/soufflé-texture, I don't feel like I need to set this with a powder unless I want to, especially since it dries down matte. I quite like this, and it's very easy to apply.

Max Factor, again, is not avaliable in the US as they are not allowed to import it for some reason. This foundation is great. It is a little on the dark side for me, but it's still lighter than the H&M foundation, and I can definetly make it work. I really like this, and it glides on super smoothly!

Maybelline SuperStay24H is a foundation I haven't worn in quite a while. It's great that it has SPF, even if 19 is a really random nummber! It applies nicely, and I can't remember hating it, so it's probably okay!

Last is the H&M Silk Smooth Foundation. I love the formula and the pricepoint, but it is a little too dark, even when I'm "tan". I never get tan. It is a little sheer, though, so I can make it work, and I think the tube is near half-empty which is exciting!

Here's my face with all 6 foundations on!
On my forehead I have the H&M foundation, ELF Mineral Foundation on my nose, and the Maybelline foundation on the top of my left cheek. On the bottom of my left cheek and left part of my chin is the foundation from Max Factor. On the bottom of my right cheek and the right side of my chin is the L'oreal Matte Morphose, and lastly on the rest of my right cheek is the IsaDora foundation.

I'm doing a video to go with this post where you can see me applying the foundations. I'll post the link here when it's up!

If there are any of these you'd like a full  review on, let me know and I'll try to get it up as quickly as possible =)
