Xmas Presents for Myself-Haul!

As I mentioned yesterday I've bought some makeup from Sephora, Target and Walgreens that I promised a haul on! I know for sure there will be another haul in not too long as I want a couple of the different things.

Okay, first off I got the Naked 2 Basics palette from Urban Decay. I'm considering getting the regular Naked 2 Palette as well but we'll see! I got the 2nd edition because I like the cool tones more than the warm of the original Naked Basics.

I also got the Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden which is the skintone colored version.

Some facestuff is obviously in my haul as well. Two cheapy items and two that are a little more expensive. the ELF Tone Correcting Powder which I've had and finished several off. I got the shade cool which is the one I've had every time I think.

I also got the NYC Smooth Skin Bronzer in Sunny which has been super hyped up online so I have to try it out! As you probably saw from my post yesterday I've hit pan on my ELF bronzer from the St. Lucia Duo. I'll probably do a review on it sooner or later.

I also got the Microsmooth Baked Foundation from Sephora in Light Nude. I haven't tried it out at all yet, just the tester in the store, but I have high hopes.

And the MAC product is actually my first MAC blush ever! It's in the shade Immortal Flower and it's a satin finished peachy coral shade like most of my other blushes. I actually got this from the CCS for $14 on Black Friday.

My two other eye-products too. I had to try out the new BrowDrama from Maybelline. I got the shade Soft Brown which is the medium shade of the three avaliable. I have tried it out already, and it's alright, but the ball is kindof big. I'll need some practice with it, but I'm sure it'll be fine as soon as I get used to it.

Then I decided I would get yet another mascara. This time it's the Rimmel Extra Super Lash Mascara. Haven't tried it yet, but the brush looks fine and the formula seems to be on the drier side which I perfer.

Okay, so the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer was a 100 point perk from Sephora. It's in the shade Nude and I haven't tried it out yet, but I hope it's the right color. It was the only color they had to give away anyways. It's actually a really good sample too at half an ounce!

And so picked up a few other ones that I've been wanting to try. I picked up N1 in True Match in case anyone is wondering. It is also the lightest shade of the three. I haven't tried them yet except as swatches that you can find on my instagram @chrisbeeblack. I'll let you know as soon as I do!

A sidenote too, btw; most of the items I'm buying are staying new and (fairly) untouched until I get back to Europe in Febuary. The plan is to get some reviews going eventually at least!

Products I've Hit Pan On!

Hey! I'm alive people! I know I haven't written anything here in a year. It's been busy moving to, living in and working in the US.
But I'm back now! Starting with a post on stuff I've hit pan on and almost finished! Let's just go ahead!

One of the things I've hit pan on is an ELF Studio Blush in Peachy Keen. I think. The back doesn't say, it only says #D28, but I think it's Peachy Keen.

Another thing is ELF Contouring and Blushing Bronzer Duo. I got mine when there was only one, but I think there are three different ones now, and this is the one in St. Lucia who is said to be a NARS Orgasm/Laguna Duo Dupe.

And then it's the palette that I've hit so pan on so hard! The Wet n Wild Comfort Zone palette. I've hit pan on 4 out of 8 shadows, and those 4 are basically the 4 that I can use at work. As a castmember I cant have green eyeshadow on an everyday basis, so I'm super happy with the pan I've hit!

I have a few single eyeshadows as well. This one is one of the ELF Custom Eyes shadows. If I remember correctly this is the shade Wheat which I use alot on my eyelid.

This is yet another ELF Custom Eyes shadow. This is called Ivory and it's just a simple shimmery white which is my go to highlighter for browbone and inner corner.

Next is my blending shadow that I use in my crease before I do anything else that has to do with eyeshadow. It's from a palette by IsaDora called Matte Chocolates. I've depotted the palette altogether and this is the one I've been using the most.

Then I have my makeup remover that's boring, but I figured I might as well include it! I brought this with me from Europe and it's my favourite. But I can't find it here... I picked up another one this time so we'll see how it goes when this one bites the dust!

This one I know for sure you've seen before. I've finished several of these and here's yet another. It's the ELF Tone Correcting Concealer and this is in the shade Rosy Beige which is the 2nd to lightest I believe. I have Ivory as well and I use either depending on how none existant my tan is.

And then I have the L'oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream in Fair. It's really nice although it doesn't havev the best coverage. It's nice to just slap on on my way out the door. Probably wont get it again though. But I'd use it again if I got it as a gift.

That said, everything that I've almost finished/hit pan on will be tossed or given away depending when I go back to Europe in Febuary. I have hardly bought any makeup while I've been here except necessities like mascara and eyeliner. Until these past two weeks. Long story short; there will be a haul!

I'll be back. It wont take a year. Promise.

Winter Project Pan!

Hello everyone! I have actually decided to do yet another project pan! This time it's 25, and as much as 20 of them are actual makeup items which is great!
This time I'm going to the project within a timelimit. I will start now, and if I get the job in the US I will continue until I leave Norway. If I don't get the job I will keep going until my birthday which is on the 29th of January.

Here are all the items I'll be attempting to use up in at least 3 months! As you can tell there's a wide variety of items here, and I'm curious as to how much I'll be able to use up. I guess time will tell!

Here are most of my face items.

Let me know if you'll join me in this quest to minimize our makeup collections, I could definetly use the support, hah!

I hope I'll manage this, haha! I'll post updates and thoughts throughout the project to let you know how I'm doing :) Hopefully I'll get a few reviews up of the products as well! If there's anything in particular you'd like to see a review on let me know =)

See you later guys, bye!

Empties - Semptember 2013!

Hello guys!

Here are my empties from the month of Semptember! Really happy to see so many things here! I have a few other bits too that's soooo close to being finished, one of them being a foundation which is really exciting as I rarely finish of foundations!

In these posts I'll do a short review of the products and tell you whether I'd repurchase or not.

Anyway, let's dig in hah!

Here are all the things I've used up! Quite alot eh?

Rexona Clear Aqua Deo
I love this! I don't know why I didn't use Stick Deos before! They're so much more comfortable than a roll-on, and you don't have to wait for it to dry. I will definetly repurchase!

Define Protein Repair Conditioner
This was good, but it's a little expensive. This is about 50NOK for 250ml. The only reason I have this is because my mum got a coupon for a free bottle in the mail hah! I would repurchase if it wasn't so expensive.

PureCare Conditioner
Didn't like this. I had to use soooo much product to get any effect or soft feel to my hair. Will not repurchase this.

Wackra Facial Toner with Perfume
I used this before I went to bed, and when I woke up my face felt oily and gross. The smell is a little strong as well. I probably won't repurchase this either, maybe if I find the version with no scent.

Sensations Exfoliante Gel de Ducha (Exfoliating showergel)
I got this in Gran Ganaria to exfoliate my shoulders after I got a massive sunburn, and for my arms it worked fine, it was gentle enough to scrub sunburnt skin without hurting. When I got home and tried it on my legs it wasn't rough enough. I don't think I'll repurchase this, but it's not avaliable in Norway anyway.

Flux Mouthwash 0.2 NaF
This is what my dentist told me to use, so I guess I don't have a choice but to repurchase, hah! It's fine, and I like the squeeze-mechanism on the bottle.

Pepsodent White Now Cool Mint Toothpaste
Really like this one! Didn't taste much of a difference between this and the original, but I'd repurchase both.

OceanPotion Protective Spray Gel Oil Free SPF 15
Loved this! The continous spray of the product made it so easy to apply and reapply during the day! Really like this and these types of sunscreens in general. Would repurchase!

Sensations Toallitas Desmaquillantes (Makeup Remover Wipes)
They work fine, but they smell so strong! Won't repurchase for that reason.

Gunry Avsminkingsservietter (Makeup Remover Wipes)
These are cheap and they work fine with no strong smell, so I think I will repurchase these next time I go to Sweden!

Soft Styles Bomullspads (cottom pads)
Definelty will repurchase.

Comodynes Convenient Cosmetics Easy Peeling New Face Effect
I think these are way to rough for my face, so I use them on my legs instead, which they work fine for, but I will not repurchase these.

ELF Eyelid Primer - Sheer
Love this stuff! I've probably finished 3 or 4 tubes, and I will get it again and again and again!

Carmex Lipbalm
This was great too, the only thing I didn't like was the pot. It's so unsanitary.

L'oreal Resist & Shine Titanium Nailpolish - 735
This is so pretty! It's a black with gold shimmer in it. If I find it for a reasonable price I'll buy it again for sure!

Eucerin Complete Repair Intensive Lotion
This was very good, and the bottle of 30ml lasted for a surprisingly long time! But it's very expensive so I won't buy it as I don't have dry skin.

H&M Nailpolish - Red
This was really good! It was my go-to red nailpolish,a nd it came in a set, so I probably wont get ahold of it again. But H&M polishes are very good anyways, so I might pick up another red from them once I've used up a few of the ones I have already!

H&M Permanent Hair Color - 7/45 Copper Red
This is great! It smelled really strong, but I love the color and I have a back-up! As long as I want my red hair I'll get this!

That's it you guys! 18 items, I don't think that's too bad! And I can't wait to go out with the trash now, I just love it when I can throw empty items out, haha!

Do you like Empties-posts?

My Go-To Makeup while Moving

As I said in my last post, I'm back!

And I also mentioned that I'm moving back to my mum's since my (now ex)boyfriend broke up, which means mh makeup has been packed down, so I have a little makeup tray with makeup for everday, which I will now show you, haha!

Here you can see it all! Lipsticks, eyeshadows, brushes and everything else!

Here are my makeup items. My ELF Custom Eyes palette, DIY lipstick palette, 3CE Lip Pigments, ELF blush in Peachy Keen, Holika Holika Aqua Petit BB Cream, ELF Mineral Infused Face Primer in Tone Adjusting Green, Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer, L'oreal Matte Morphose Foundation, IsaDora Mascara, Oriflame Mascara and the H&M Liquid Eyeliner.

¨
Here's my ELF palette! I have 14 shades!
Ivory - Pink Ice - Truly Pink - Wisteria - Periwinkle
Golden Glow - Wheat - Mocha - Moondust - Drift Wood
Sage - Navy - Aubergine - Dusk

Mocha is a lot redder than it seems in the picture, and Moondust is darker. The blitz doesn't do them justice at all.

Then there's my little DIY Lipstick Palette with 12 lipsticks. Again, the colors aren't completely accurate, but it's close on most of the colors. You can see the numbers, so I'll list the shades with numbers!
1. NK - Very Berry, 2. Color Works - Ebony, 3. Oriflame - Wine, 4. MNY - 809A,
5. Viva la Diva - Hot Tulip (More pink and darker), 6. Viva la Diva - Vampire Red (a true red IRL)
7. Miners - Baby Pink, 8. Miners - Cinnamon, 9. S.he Makeup - Just Peachy, 10. NK - Amethyst
11. NK -Berry Plum, 12. Viva la Diva - Cream Coral

As you can see there's a good mix, and I'm going to put all of my lipsticks in these palettes. I got this on eBay for $.99 and a full lipsticks fills up one container, so it's the perfect size and really compact for 12 lipsticks! Love it!

Sigma E50, Sigma F25, Joursna (no name), Sigma E25, ELF Eyeshadow Brush
and then two random lipbrushes from a eBay brush set !

So that's the makeup I'm living with right now! Hopefully I'll have my full stash soon hehe. I just have to get in order, I hate moving and cleaning and ugh! Wish me luck, hah!

I'll see you soon :*

Review: ELF Lipsticks

Another ELF Review people! I know, I'm sorry, but I have soo much ELF stuff, and I know a lot of people find their items a little hit or miss. That's why I want to share my experience with you. As ELF is such a cheap brand, what would be better than to find a HG in their items?
These lipsticks are just $1 or £1.50 depending on where you get them from. They're avaliable from eyeslipsface.com and eyeslipsface.co.uk as well as target stores in the US.
Here are the five lipsticks from ELF I have so far. I have ordered 3 more, but I wont get them until the 16th, and then I wont have time to try them out and take pictures as we leave on the 17th.
As you can see them packaging is really simple with a clear part in the middle which allows you to see the lipstick color through.
Left to right in the picture above
Classy - Seductive - Gipsy - Voodoo - Posh

All the lipsticks has these small stickers on the bottom stating the name of your lipstick. In total there are 12 shades avaliable, going from the light nudes to the dark reds and everything in between.

The lipsticks do differ a little in formula. I find Voodoo and Seductive to be the most creamy and hydrating out of the bunch while the other three are the same formula. They are very pigmented and not drying.

Classy - Seductive - Posh - Gipsy - Voodoo
I think I will eventually have all the 12 shades of this lipsticks, haha! They are great value for your money and the price is unbeatable. Each lipstick contains 3.5grams of product which is about average I believe.

Sorry not all the lip swatches are as clear as they should be. I will change the pictures of a few of them, especially Seductive, but I don't have time to do that right now...

Anyways I hope you enjoyed this review and I will see you later!
Thanks for reading guys, I really apprechaite the support given to my blog =)

Review: ELF Eyelid Primer in Sheer

Hey Hey!

Today I will review a dirt cheap product from ELF which is only $1! An amazing value right?
This is the Eyelid Primer in the shade Sheer, but it is also avaliable in three other shades; Golden, Champagne and Pearl.

Here is the packaging. It's very simple, like a lipgloss and contains 5ml of product. It doesn't sound like alot, but it lasts FOREVER, trust me, you only need so much for your eyes.

It has a very easy-to-use doefoot applicator, and even though I know some people would rather have a squeezy-tube I really like the applicator of this. And no - it doesn't normally look this messy, but mine is almost empty, so I've taken the little plastic stopper out.

When applying the color it looks like a yellow-toned light skintone, but when blended out it goes clear but leaves the skin feeling matte and soft.

This is my go-to eyeprimer, and I'm pretty sure this is my 3rd one, and even this one is almost empty! I really love this stuff. It keeps my eyeshadow on all day and makes them go on nice and smoothly without any patches.

I will keep buying this forever I think, but right now I have to use up another primer first which I will also do a review on when I've used it enough.

I hope you liked this little review, and if you would like reveiws on the other shades let me know as I have both Champagne and Pearl as well! =)

Review: ELF Tone Correcting Concealer

Today I'm writing a review of the Tone Correcting Concealer for ELF!

The packaging is really simple and easy to use. The tube contains 2.4g which is about half of a regular lipgloss. This costs $1 in the US and £1.50 in the UK and Europe. Even if it's tiny it's also really cheap, and it can be bought from eyeslipsface.com and eyeslipsface.co.uk, i addition to ikatehouse.com and probably target.com as well.

It has a standard doefoot applicator which makes both application and getting the right amount very easy.

I have the lightest shade, Ivory, and the 3rd to lightest accoarding to the webiste which is Rosy Beige. I would say light beige is darker than Rosy Beige, though. In total there are 7 shades avaliable (Ivory, Light Beige, Rosy Beige, Apricot Beige, Honey, Spice and Toffee)

I have had this concealer before in Rosy Beige and I used it all up and I decided to repurchase. If you saw my ikatehouse haul, then you know I bought 4 of these babys, and I think that is saying alot! In addition to being cheap and easy to use is has a decent coverage for everyday. I don't like full coverage concealers because I think it can easily look a little fake and made up. As I have a lot of redness both on my cheeks and my chin and tend to use a concealer a medium coverage is more natural.

Here are the shades. Ivory on the bottom, Rosy Beige on the top.

I must say I perfer Ivory to Rosy Beige because of the yellow undertone. Because I have so much redness the yellow undertone does a better job at concealing it, but I can defiently use Rosy Beige too with no problem, Ivory is just my personal preferance.
The lasting power is decent, but I like to set them with a powder to make them last even longer. If you're a concealer junkie as I am, then I really reccomend it, but not if you have major blemishes and spots. It's great as an undereye concealer too, as it's creamy and it dries on it's own after a little while if you perfer not to use powder under your eyes.

That was it for now, guys! I will see you in my next post!
Thanks for reading, too!

What's in my Travel Makeup Bag - What I'll Actually Take with Me

I know I've kind of done this post before. But then I looked through the stuff I was going to bring and I decided to change it up. Yeah, I know, I'm indecisive. Runs in my family I've heard haha =)

Anyways, now I'm not going to change anything as we leave in two days, so I'm showing you guys my makeup bag! Again... You can read what I was initially taking with me in THIS POST and what my travel palette originally looked like HERE.

I had to upgrade to a slightly bigger makeup bag as I'm not bringing a palette in my handbag like I was thinking about in the beginning. This is by Clarins.

It holds a lot of stuff!

Here are the eyeshadows I'm now bringing! The bottom square eyeshadows are from ArtDeco, the three matte shades to the right are from IsaDora and the rest are ELF Custom Eyes.

ELF Custom Eyes Swatches!
Navy - Sage - Ivory - Wheat
Wisteria - Periwinkle - Driftwood - Aubergine - Moon Dust.

I swear, if ELF had any matte Custom Eyes I could do with just these, but I mean, you need a little matte action as well, right...

On top are the eyeshadows from IsaDora.
Black from Smokey Eyes palette.
Skintone and Matte Brown from Matte Chocolates palette.
ArtDeco Shadows: 04 - 258 - 527 - 235

Then I'm bringing my ELF St. Lucia Blush/Bronzer Duo as well as the ELF Studio Blush in Peachy Keen.

Peachy Keen - Blush and Bronzer from the Duo.

I felt like I needed a little bit of options so I'm bringing these two blushes instead of the ArtDeco ones from my Travel Palette.

Here are the lipproducts I'm bringing in my makeup bag.
Hawaiian Tropic SPF25 Island Berry Lipgloss
IsaDora Twist-Up Stick - 08 Red Romance
ELF Lipstick - Seductive
MNY by Maybelline - 802A

Swatchtime!
Hawaiian Tropic - IsaDora - ELF - MNY

And here are the dace things I'm bringing! I might leave one of the Tone Correcting Concealers at home as I've decided to bring the Garnier Roll-On.
ELF Tone Correcting Concealer - Ivory & Rosy Beige
ELF Clarifying Pressed Powder - Ivory
Max Factor Miracle Touch Liquid Illusion Foundation - 45 Warm Almond
And the little pot contains a bit of my ELF Mineral Infused Face Primer just in case I feel like wearing a primer if we go out or something.

More eye-stuff!
ELF Liquid Liner - Black
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil - Milk
Maybelline ColorSensational Lip Liner - 440 Coral Fire
IsaDora Build-Up Extra Volume Mascara
Me Now Generation II Perfect Eye/Lip Liner Pencil - Green from a set of 12
Lumene Beauty Base Eyeshadow Primer
L'oreal Paris Contour Kohl - Black

Bringing a little sponge and my Beauty Blender.

Then I'm bringing some tools like my H&M Eyelash Curler, ELF Duo Sharpner, tweezers a little spray with some brush cleanser. Also my Eucerin Anti-Redness SPF15 Moisturizer.

That was all! I will stop bothering me with the makeup I'm going to bring haha!

Thanks for reading, guys =)
