Review: ELF Luscious Liquid Lipstick

I figured I'd do a quick review on ELF's Luscious Liquid Lipstick before I went to bed, so here we go!
The packaging is really simple, it's just a twist up with a sponge-applicator. I do find that I really like this packaging, though! I have two colours; Ruby Slipper (top) and Cherry Tart (bottom). As you can tell, I've been wearing Cherry Tart a lot more than the other!
Here is a close-up of the applicators.
Ruby Slipper is on the top, with Cherry Tart underneath. I was really surprised that you can tell see the shimmers in Ruby Slipper, but you can! How awesome is that, haha! Ruby Slipper is also a little bit of a deeper colour that Cherry Tart which is more of a bright red. They are kind of sheer, but when applied numerous times through-out the day they actually look very nice.
I really like the formula as well, I like the fact that they're a bit on the sheer side because that makes them a bit more wearable for everyday, school, jobs and such. Even though I don't have any problem wearing an In Your Face-Red lip to school.

Sooooo....
I like the packaging, the colours and the formula.
Get them! At least these colours. The reason I got these colours are because I'm really in the red-mood right now! I do wish they'd launch some brighter other colours as well. A bright pink, bright purple and an orange.

THAT would be awesome!

Review: Pierre Réne Sweet Berry Lipgloss

 Here they all are!
L-R: Vintage Flash, Scandal, Juicy Fruit, First Kiss, Vintage Flash, Plum, Nude, Peaches Cream

These lipglosses are devided into three categories; Seductive Shine, Shinig Matte and Wet & Colorful.
Of the categories Seductive Shine is the most pigmented one. In the swatches, it's number 1, 2, 4 and I think 5 as well. Shining Matte is a gloss without shimmer, and they're medium pigmented. Nude, the 6th swatch is a Shining Matte, while the remaning two, number 3 and 7 are Wet & Colorful. They have a little bit of pigmentation, but they're not very opaque. They also have some shimmer in them.

When that's said, I can mention that these are pretty inexpensive, I paid 39 NOK for a lipgloss, but they always have a 3 for 99 NOK for all lipglosses and eyeshadows which is nice. They are also fairly long wearing, but they do feather a little bit, at least the Seductive Shine ones. Probably because they are so pigmented.

The lipglosses, even the most shimmery ones are not grainy. They are comfortable and moisturizing, the only problem is that they're not very availiable around the world...

These are awesome, guys!

MAC Eyeshadow Dupes

I was thinking about my MAC eyeshadows, and I was thinking about the fact that I actually have some dupes in my drugstore collection!

Here they are, in all their glory!

Now for the exciting part; dupes!
Swatches are on the bottom!

In the pictures, amber lights look very different. On the top one it looks like a shimmery bronze, while it looks almost orange in the second one. In reality it's a gold, but more on the orange side.
The dupes are ELF Custom Eyes in Golden Glow and Pierre Rene's eyeshadow in Pearl no 38.
The eyeshadow by Pierre Rene is a little bit more orange than Amber Lights while Golden Glow is not as shimmery and not as Gold-like. Golden Glow is more on the yellow side too. It's not as pigmented as Amber Lights either.
Blanc Type is a very standard eyeshadow, and it mathes my skintone pretty well. The dupe is an eyeshadow that comes from a palette by Isadora, it's called Matte Chocolates, and 2 of these 4 dupes are from that palette. This one is the first shade, and as you can see it maches pretty well. I prefer the quality of the IsaDora eyeshadow better. It's silky smooth and very blendable!
Not really a dupe, becuase it's from the 120 palette, and I think that palette has dupes for nearly everything, but this is the matte white I use the most, and it's from the Manly 120 Palette. I think it's the 1st edition.
The dupe is a little more powdery, but the pigmentation is also better.
The dupe is the 5th eyeshadow in the Matte Chocolates palette. It's a little darker and more of a true chocolate brown where Espresso can be a little on the orange side.

That was it, guys!

Newspaper Nails

On monday I tried the Newspaper Nails that's been all over youtube lately, and I am going to tell you how to do it! How nice am I? Right! Haha...

For this I used Rubbing Alcohol that I poured into a small bowl.
For nailpolishes I used IsaDora Second Nails as a basecoat, H&M's nailpolish in Daisy, which is a light gray colour and IsaDora Quick Drying Topcoat.
You will also need 10 pieces of paper, big enough to cover your nails.
What I did, was I applied my basecoat and two coats of a light grey polish. You can chose what ever colour you want, just make sure the black inc from the newspaper will show up.

You have to let the nailpolish dry COMPLETLY before you dip either your nail or the piece of newspaper in rubbing alcohol. I found it didn't really matter which method I used, but don't let the alcohol dry while you press the newspaper to your nail. If you do, some pieces of newspaper might get stuck to your nail.

After you've dipped in rubbing alcohol, put it over your nail and press it down to get the inc to transfer.
Then you can take off the newspaper and put on a topcoat right away, because the inc will rub off very easily.
I suggest applying a new layer of topcoat every day if you don't want the inc to dissapear.

Here's the result I ended up with:
The inc that gets on your skin will easily wash off when everything's dry.

I also did this with pictures from the newspaper. These are part of the cartoons in the back.

That's it, guys!
Will you try this?

Collection: Pencil Eyeliners

I have ALOT of eyeliners, and in particular pencil liners, in a pretty wide variety for colours, so since I did the Collection Lipliners, I wanted to show you these as well!

Here are all of my pencil liners!

For all of the other pictures and swatches I decided to colour-categorize! So on to swatches and names!
These are actually "Cream Eyeshaders", but since they are in a pencil form I'll include them here. I also have the NYX jumbo pencil in Milk, but I'm not allowed to use it yet, so I wont include it here.
These are the Hema Cream Eyeshaders.
The dark/white colour is number 20, and the brown duo is no. 21.

FOTD - Week Edition!

I figured that, instead of posting a FOTD every time I was happy with it, I'd gather them into a weekly post. This isn't 7 looks, though, it's like 5 or maybe 6 I think. But it doesn't matter. Some of the days I wear very similar looks, so I didn't mind posting 3 looks that were almost the same. But on to the looks!

Not very good picture, but it was the best I got, sorry!

If you want tutorials or anything on one of these looks then let me know!
