My Go-To Makeup while Moving

As I said in my last post, I'm back!

And I also mentioned that I'm moving back to my mum's since my (now ex)boyfriend broke up, which means mh makeup has been packed down, so I have a little makeup tray with makeup for everday, which I will now show you, haha!

Here you can see it all! Lipsticks, eyeshadows, brushes and everything else!

Here are my makeup items. My ELF Custom Eyes palette, DIY lipstick palette, 3CE Lip Pigments, ELF blush in Peachy Keen, Holika Holika Aqua Petit BB Cream, ELF Mineral Infused Face Primer in Tone Adjusting Green, Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer, L'oreal Matte Morphose Foundation, IsaDora Mascara, Oriflame Mascara and the H&M Liquid Eyeliner.

¨
Here's my ELF palette! I have 14 shades!
Ivory - Pink Ice - Truly Pink - Wisteria - Periwinkle
Golden Glow - Wheat - Mocha - Moondust - Drift Wood
Sage - Navy - Aubergine - Dusk

Mocha is a lot redder than it seems in the picture, and Moondust is darker. The blitz doesn't do them justice at all.

Then there's my little DIY Lipstick Palette with 12 lipsticks. Again, the colors aren't completely accurate, but it's close on most of the colors. You can see the numbers, so I'll list the shades with numbers!
1. NK - Very Berry, 2. Color Works - Ebony, 3. Oriflame - Wine, 4. MNY - 809A,
5. Viva la Diva - Hot Tulip (More pink and darker), 6. Viva la Diva - Vampire Red (a true red IRL)
7. Miners - Baby Pink, 8. Miners - Cinnamon, 9. S.he Makeup - Just Peachy, 10. NK - Amethyst
11. NK -Berry Plum, 12. Viva la Diva - Cream Coral

As you can see there's a good mix, and I'm going to put all of my lipsticks in these palettes. I got this on eBay for $.99 and a full lipsticks fills up one container, so it's the perfect size and really compact for 12 lipsticks! Love it!

Sigma E50, Sigma F25, Joursna (no name), Sigma E25, ELF Eyeshadow Brush
and then two random lipbrushes from a eBay brush set !

So that's the makeup I'm living with right now! Hopefully I'll have my full stash soon hehe. I just have to get in order, I hate moving and cleaning and ugh! Wish me luck, hah!

I'll see you soon :*

My Travel Brush Kit

Here are the brushes I am bringing with me on my two-week trip to the Canary Islands by the coast of Africa. As we will be gone for quite some time I desided to bring a good variety of brushes.

All my brushes are stored in this Ecofriendly case made out of old truck-tyres and seat belt which I think it really cool. I also have a little tag with my name on it hanging of the zipper.

Here are all the brushes I'm bringing with me! I don't think it's too much for 2 weeks away.

First off are my eyebrushes! Left to right:
ELF Professional Eyeshadow Brush - Used to pack on a lid color and also some blending sometimes.
Sigma E35 - Used for blending
H&M Brush - Presice application of eyeshadow or smudging along the lower lashline.
Sigma E50 - Blending, getting a wash of color and highlighting.
Sigma E25 - Applying a crease-color and blending.

Here are my facebrushes!
Everyday Minerals Eyekabuki - Apply and blend concealer.
Joursna Stippling Brush - Apply a light wash of powder and blusher, sometimes foundation, bronzer or highlighter.
Joursna Angled Kabuki Brush - To apply foundation or contour.
Joursna Round Kabuki Brush - Apply foundation, both liquid and minerals.
Sigma F10 - Used for applying blush or face powder.
ELF Complexion Brush - Used for powder.

In addition I'm bringing my beauty blender and another sponge with straight edges.

That was all, guys! I'm going to go wash my brushes now, so they're ready and clean for wednesday morning! Thanks for reading =)

My Everyday Brushes / July 2013

There's been a long time since I did my last Everyday Brushes-post. It was actually back in October 2011, and as it's one of my most read posts ever, I decided to do an updated one.

Like in my last one, which you can read HERE, I'm going to section the pictures into face- and eyebrushes, and most and least used.

Here they all are in their glory! It's a mix between ELF, Sigma, Everyday Minerals, Joursna and H&M!

These are my most used eyebrushes. No matter what I do for a look this is mostly what I use.
L-R
H&M Little Eyeshadow Brush - I use this to apply precise color, highlight my inner corners and also smudge eyeshadow under my eyes. If I want a defined browbone highlight I will also use this brush.
ELF Professional Eyeshadow Brush - I use this to place eyeshadow on my eyelid and also sometime to blend a little.
Sigma Blending Brush E25 - I use this to apply color into my crease. Sometimes I blend and apply a highlight with it, but that's more rare.
Sigma Tapered Blending Brush E35 - I use this to blend my eyeshadows, and also sometimes to highlight my browbone.
Sigma Large Fluff Brush E50 - I could basically do my whole look with this, but I mostly use it to blend my eyeshadow with the highlight color or apply highlight. Also to sweep some color onto the lid if I'm in a hurry or don't really want to do much with my eyelook.

Here are my most used Eyebrushes. These are the ones I usually reach for.
L-R
Everyday Minerals Eye Kabuki - I use this alot to apply concealer when it is in a pot, and also blend foundation if it's a smaller area.
Joursna Round Top Kabuki - This is what I've been using to apply my L'oreal Matte Morphose foundation as the brush fits into the opening of the jar. It's the right size and desity to blend it in perfectly.
Joursna Stippling Brush - I use this to apply my mineral blushes which I have been using alot. It is a little shorter than the ELF one so I feel like I get a little more control.
Sigma Powder/Blush Brush F10 - This is what I have been using if I'm using a powder, and with pressed blushes. It does shed a little, but it's the only brush I have with this shape and size.
If you have any dupe-suggestions then let me know!

Then there are my less used brushes.
Everyday Minerals Blending Brush - Even though this is an eyebrush, I've been using it to apply highlighter to my face when I want it to be very precise. Sometimes I also blend my eyeshadows with this instead of the Sigma, depending on which is clean and closest.
ELF Stippling Brush - I have started to use this more for powder now as it's a little bigger and longer than the Joursna-version. If I just want a little touch of powder I use this instead of the Sigma F10.
Sigma Tapered Face Brush F25 - The few times I use bronzer or contour I'm using this. It doesn't happen to often though, haha.

That was it, guys! I hope you enjoyed it =)
Thanks for reading!

Favourites - June 2013

For once, I am going to do a favourites post! There's just a few makeup bits, but I thought I would shade anyways.

My makeup items are the ELF Mineral Foundation SPF 15 in Light, ELF Mineral Blush in Coral, L'oreal Matte Morphose Souffle Foundation which I did a review of a couple of days ago (LINK), my H&M Liquid Liner which I'm happily surprised with and the Gosh Serious Volume Mascara in Black! Surprised by that one two, since it's not waterproof, but I have cried with it on and it didn't run which is really good for a non-waterproof mascara!

I also have been loving my Joursna brushes which I got off of eBay, but it's basically a short stippling brush and a round kabuki-type brush. The watch is by Regal and I got it in Sweden at half price which was awesome!

I have also had a non-makeup favourite, and I got it on tuesday, so I didn't even have it in June, but I'm adding it here anyways because I want to tell you.

It is the white shelf, and it's from EXPEDIT by IKEA. It's just a white shelf-thing with four shelfes in it. We have a black one too which we have random stuff in, but this is perfect of rmy room as my HELMER drawers which are also by IKEA are white. They are origianlly 249NOK, but I got mine used from 100NOK.

Inside I have my mother's sewing machine, oil for my boyfriend's car and my car, a thing for his electric guitar and a little set of tools, haha. In the top shelfes I have my purses which I don't use as much to the right and my stash of bodylotion, shampoo, conditioner and body wash in a little stash to the left. I do want to get baskets for it which are called DRÖNA and they're 39NOK each and I love them in our other shelf, but they're not made in white, haha.

Anyways, enought rambling about interior, I'll see you later!
One more thing, if you'd like a review of anything, just let me know!
Thank you so much for reading =)

Overview - My Makeup Collection in Pictures!

I was talking to a friend of mine about how much makeup I have, since I've been giving away 50 makeup items and 24 brushes and I'm about to give away 10 more brushes and 3 makeup items to said friend, so I told her I had ALOT of makeup, probably more than I'll ever need, so here are some pictures of my collection!

On the right side of my desk I have these letter-organizers with 7 palettes in them. They used to hold 9, but I've given two away.

Here's my 10 Blush Palette, 15 Concealer Palette and ELF Beauty Encyclopedia for Eyes. Both the blushpalette and the concealerpalette I got off eBay, so they're not by a brand.

Then there's my Manly 120 Palette with a wide range of colors in it. I also had the Sersell 88 Natural Palette and the 88 Shimmer Palette in here, but they've been given away as I like the 120 palette better.

Then there's my MAC palettes which does  not hold any MAC Eyeshadows. To the left is my DIY Vacation-Palette which you can read more about HERE, as well as two more with random eyeshadows and such in them.

In my desk there's several drawers, and this is one of them. Smaller palettes, and a few gel liners, a black eyeshadow and a little Gosh Duo and more.

Here's the content of my smaller palettes.
Top Row L-R
IsaDora Matte Chocolates Palette, ELF Custom Eyes, ELF Custom Eyes
Bottom Row L-R
Max Factor, MAC, ArtDeco, Oriflame Blush, Visions Pearl Shimmer Highlighter

Then there's my foundation/BB Cream/Concealer drawer which is placed inside a cabinet on my wall.
Contains foundations and BB Creams from Max Factor, Skin79, Holika Holika, Maybelline, Garnier, H&M, MUA, L'oreal and IsaDora, as well as concealers from ELF, Garnier and Viva la Diva.

My drawer of powders, blushes, highlighers and bronzers are next!
Powders from Kubiss and ELF.
Blushes by ELF, L'oreal and Music Flower
Bronzer by IsaDora, L'oreal and ELF
Highlighters by ELF and Skin79

Then there's my crazy liner and base-drawer.
Bottom left has lipliners from all kinds of brands; ELF, L'oreal, Max Factor, Maybelline, eBay and more, which the Bottom Right drawer has eyeliners from the same brands and also IsaDora and probably more there too.
Top left has eyeshadow primers and bases from Hema, ELF, Etude House and more, and the last section has liquid liners from different brands as ELF and L'oreal ++

Then there's my eyeshadow drawer. In the back I have some sponges, and a little section with ELF and some other brands. Then there's the left drawer which has my L'oreal Infalliable Eyeshadows, IsaDora Mineral Eyeshadows and Miners Dip'n'Define eyeshadows. Last box has H&M Dip eyeshadows, Viva la Diva, IsaDora, ELF and even more stuff.

Then in my little drawer-sections from IKEA, named Helmer I have this drawer filled with lipstick and tube-glosses. There's ELF, IsaDora, Maybelline, Gema, Viva la Diva and more.

Back to my desk where I have this basket with my everyday-stuff. Again; ELF, IsaDora, L'oreal, Wet n Wild, YSL, Nivea, Missha, Garnier, Gosh, H&M etc.

Also on my desk I have this little DIY-project with lipglosses. On the top I have some mini's by Miners, then middle left are my H&M Lipglosses, then the middle right and bottom right are by Pierre Rene, and the two other from are miscellaneous brands.

On a rack righ next to my desk I have the bottom shelf filled with makeup brushes, again random brands; Sigma, ELF, Joursna and eBay.

On the same rack but on the top shelf I have all my nailpolishes. H&M, Viva la Diva, ELF and more H&M, haha. I really love H&M nailpolishes!

And then, at last, on the top of my Helmer drawer-set I keep my lipbalms in the back and perfumes on a tray in front. Parfumes from Kimmi Fragrance, Escada, Calvin Klein, Jean Paul Gautlier, Versace and some random small ones and samples.

Phuufh, that was a huge post with a lot of pictures! But I really like watching makeup collection posts and videos, so if you have one too, let me know and I'll check it out =)
If you would like a more depth post or video with my Makeup, Nail Polish or Parfume Collection, then let me know! I've been thinking about doing an Updated Makeup Collection Video for a long time, but when I filmed it it didn't look right, it was dark and then I ended up giving away a lot of stuff I didn't use, so maybe I'll use the footage for a before/after video.

If you see anything you would like a review on then let me know that too!

Anyways, thank you so much for sticking with me through this enormous post, and I hope you enjoyed! I would really apprechiate it if you'd like to follow my blog which you can do through Google Friend Connect to your right. Thanks again!

Recent eBay Haulings!

I've gotten som stuff from eBay recently and I've gotten my stuff now, so I'm showing you guys!

I got a couple of sunglasses, just the regular kind. They were cheap which is why I got them, because my sunglasses always get lost or broken haha. They were $1.39 each.

Also got these hairdresser's scissors, because as I've moved for myself with my boyfriend, we don't have too much money, so I spent $5.55 on these scissors instead of spending $50 every time I need a haircut.

Also decided to bid on this brush-set and I won, haha! Paid £7.98 ($12.34) and some shipping for them, but they are really soft. I have washed them too, or else this post would have been up on wednesday. The took FOREVER to dry!

Here you can see them a little better. There's an angled, a domed, a rounded, a flat top and a stippling brush. I haven't tried them yet, but since they feel so nice and soft I hope it wont be a problem. I did experience some shedding when I washed them, but hopefully it doesn't shade on my face, because I don't want hairs all over.

The brand is Joursna, if you were wondering!

So yeah, that's the recent things I got from eBay. I've also gotten a wig, but that was a complete failure, so I decided not to feature that here. You can, however, watch my first impression of the wig on youtube HERE if you wish, but you've been warned; failure!

Thanks for reading, I really appreciate it =)
What's the last thing you got off of eBay or Amazon?

iHerb.com Haul ft. ELF, Queen Helene, Bare Fruit and more!

Yay, I finally got my packages from iHerb today! Yes, packages, plural, hehe. BTW, everything here was purchased by me with my own money.
You can also just click the names and it will bring you to the page of the item for easy purchasing.

Here's everything I got! I did get 5 packages of the Bare Fruit Cinnamon Apple Chips, because I love them! Then, for non-beauty items I got the Walden Farms Chocolate Dip which is calorie, carb, fat, gluten and more things-free. I heard a lot of good things about it on some Norwegian forums, so yeah. Then "The Vice-Busting DIET" was a freebie. With each order from iHerb you can choose a freebie from their freebie-section.

As for the beauty-stuff I got the Sierra Bees Organic Vanilla Lipbalm as my 2nd freebie. Then I ordered the ELF Daily Moisture Sick, ELF Blush Brush, ELF Mineral Powder Brush, ELF Mineral Infused Face Primer in Clear and the Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque, which I've heard so much about on youtube! The Face Primer I've also used before, and I finished it so I thought I would get it another one because I liked it so much. It's pretty much just your standard silicione-based primer.

Here you can see the ELF Blush Brush campared to my ELF Complexion Brush which it's pretty much just a smaller size of. I think it will be strange to use this type of blush brush as I've been so used to the Sigma Powder/Blush Brush (F10) for my blush, but we shall see.

Then there's the ELF Mineral Powder Brush. I thought this would be a dupe of the before-mentioned F10 from Sigma, but as you can tell in the picture, it is soooo much SMALLER! On the packaging it states the small size is to make higher coverage and also allow the brush to reach hard-to-reach areas, but I was still stunned when I saw how tiny it was. The reason I wanted a dupe for my Sigma brush is because it sheds. All of my Sigma-brushes do, so I perfer my ELF ones which as supersoft! I haven't washed my new brushes yet, so I'm hoping maybe the mineral powder brush will be a little bigger and fluffier afterwards.

Those were my new things, you guys! As for the prices, the ELF Face Primer and Moisture Stick was $6, the two brushes were $3 and the Mint Julep Masque was $4.87, but it is currently on sale for $3.84. The lipbalm was a freebie, but it retails for $1.95. The DIET-book was $19.95, but again, it got it for free. The chocolate dip is $4.39, but on sale for $3.76, and it still is on sale. The chips were $2.99 and are now on sale for $2.70. I did get 5 bags of the chips, haha!

Shipping was $4 for each package, which is really affordable!

Thanks for reading guys, I really appreciate it =)
Remember to follow my blog, too, that would make my day!

Gift wish: Brush Tree

I saw this in a November-favorites video on youtube, and I couldn't help but to want on for my own. It's so clever and simple, and the price isn't too bad either. I do not know if the company ships internationally though, but it's not expensive to wish !

This is the Brush Tree from Benjadelle, and you can get it HERE!
It is currently out of stock, but I'm sure they'll get more in soon.
The brush tree is avaliable in three different colors; Black, White and Pink.

First Impression: eBay Brush Set!

Just got these in the mail, and showing them all in the eBay haul where they belong would just make the video far to long, so I'm posting the pictures I took and some first impressions with the quality etc of the set.

Ok, so this is the brushroll  the set came in. I was pleasantly surprised because I didn't expect it to come with a roll. It is a lether-looking thing, and it smelt a little strange at first, but now, after it's been in free air, the smell is completely gone.

This is what it looks like inside. When it first arrived it had plastic tubes around every single brush, and it looked very neat. There is a flap to cover the "head" of the brush which is nice, and they stay very well in their compartments.

These are the first brushes in the set. There are a comb/brush, a mascara wand and two sponge-tip applicators, two angled eyeliner brushes with different width and length of the bristles, a regular eyeliner brush and a smudge-tip from - I guess - smudging eyeliner. The rest are concealer brushes in different shapes and sizes.

 Here there are more concealer-type brushes in all shapes and sizes;
angled, flufflier, flatter, smaller, bigger and so on and so forth. I know a lot of people like these brushes for applying eyeshadow as well. Then there's the flimsy little fanbrush in the middle.

More brushes! Yay!
One concealer brush, a huge concealer brush (or a small foundationbrush) and 4 powderbrushes in different styles. There is one angled contourbrush, a brushbrush, and two brushes with super long bristles as you'll see in the pictures further down.
Here are the same brushes, and the huge, badass fan brush in the end. It's enormous!

This is the coolest brush in the entire set! It's like a blending brush, but it's flat in the end.
If any of you know what this is really for, let me know, haha!

Here are the two first brushes of the bigger ones. You can see the one on the top is very slim, completely round, and the bristles are really long. The bottom brush is a little bigger and not as flimsy and I think it would work nicely with blush.

The angled brush and a bigger powderbrush.

 The enormous fanbrush!

These are a selection of the brushes in the set, I think it's about half of the set.

So I guess you're all curious about the price and the brushes and such, so I'll get to that now!
The brush was $15.00, so less that 50 cents a brush. That is a really good deal, but buying off of ebay you do take the risk of getting crap in the mail.

Luckily I was really lucky, and all the brushes are super soft! They do not scratch my face at all, and they're great! There's not the best variety with most of the brushes being concealer-type, even though they are different, it's the same type of brush. That doesn't really bother me though, because of several reasons:
  1. I don't have that many concealerbrushes.
  2. They work great with other products too: eyeshadows, creams etc.
  3. The smaller brushes also work great as lipbrushes. Maybe they're meant to be lipbrushes, I'm not sure of that, hahaha.
So all in all, I really like the brushset! I did win this in an auction, though, so I don't know if you can find it anymore from the seller I got it from, but if you search 32pcs makeup brush set or something similar, you'll probably find it !

I hope you enjoyed this little first impressions-video !
