Bloglovin' + Everyday-blog!

I have my blog on bloglovin, I just though I should let you know! If you are on there, you can follow my blog and   get a mail every time I post something if you'd like. Or you can have me there with all of your other favourite blogs! Here is the link: Chrisbeeblack-Beauty on Bloglovin'.

I'd love it if you'd all follow me!

I also have an everyday-blog called Chrisbeeblack as well. Here is the link: Chrisbeeblack
It's is in Norwegian, but I'm going to install a Google Transelate bar there so you can transelate it to your own language. I know Googles transelator isn't perfect, but at least you'd get the point it what I write.
That blog is on Bloglovin' as well, and you can find that here: Chrisbeeblack on Bloglovin'.
I post a few beauty-related things there too!

Thank you for your time!

Review: ELF Duo Eye Shadow Cream

Have any of you tried this?

Here's the packaging.
The shades I have are Black Licorice and Coffee and Cream.
They are both very pigmented, they're easy to work with and all that, but there's one problem:
They crease like crazy! It's such a shame because the colours are beautiful, there's a decent selection of colours too.

As you can see the white shade is the only one that's a little patchy, other than that they go on super smooth and pretty. As I already said, they fail massively as cream shadows because they crease so bad, but they are great as a coloured cream base for your sheerer eyeshadows. Just keep in mind that you need a very thin layer.

If you need a base, go for it.
If you're looking for a cream shadow to be worn alone you should stay away, try the Studio Cream Shadows instead, they're great.

Review: ELF Eyebrow Treat and Tame

This is what I'm reviewing today. It's the Eyebrow Treat and Tame by ELF. Basically this is a two-step product to make your eyebrows look better. At first when I got this I used the Tame side the most. It's the coloured side and I have the shade Light. I wish I'd gotten Ash though, because it can look a little dark on me sometimes.

Now on the other hand, I use the Treat side, and it's supposed to make your eyebrow hairs grow.
I wasn't really expecting much from this side, but it really worked! I just applied it with the brush-applicator it came with all over my brows before I go to bed. It dries pretty quickly too.

Here are the applicators and the colour of the tame side in Light.

I really like the product, both sides of it actually, but I do perfer my eyebrow-pencil better. It looks a bit more natural, but sometimes I just run this through. They work, which is good, the price is low, which is also good, so I would suggest trying this if you either want to tame your brows, or grow some more hairs to them.
I can't promise you a miracle-worker, but at least for me the treat side did something for the better!

OOTD - 16.02.12

Not super exciting, but I wanted to show you.
I wore the same dress yesterday for my date as well, but I chose high heels and a gray cardigan instead of the black one and the converse.

Chose to put some colour in this with my home made rainbow-bracelet.
If you want a DIY on that one, just let me know!

And that was it!
I hope you liked it.

Review: ELF Studio Blushes

The review of the day will be on the Studio Blushes from ELF. I have two shades, and I'm planning to get more in the future. You can see the packaging in the picture below. It's an almost matte black backaging, kind of NARS-ish, with a peek-though window in the top which I really like. That was you can see what colour it is without having to actually open it.

On the backside of the packaging there's also a sticker saying the name.
The shades I have is Blushing Rose and Gotta Glow.

As you can tell from the sticker the blush containts 4.8g / .17oz of product which is quite alot. For comparison a regular MAC blush containts 5.9g / .21oz as far as I could figure out. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Something I did notice thuogh, is that while the sticker on the back says 4.8g the ELF website claims it contains 4.75g, but I guess it doesn't really matter. Just something they should think about.

Here is the shade Blushing Rose.
As you can tell this has quite som golden shimmer to it, but it doesn't at all look glittery or overly shimmery on my skin. I really like this shade, but it is more of a fall and winter colour than spring and summer because it is a rather darkish berry colour. I don't have any problems with this on my skin though.

Here are the swatches.
Left one is blended and the right one isn't.

And here is Gotta Glow. It looks a little white in the pan, but it is actually a little golden. It has some golden shimmer to it too, so if you're not fond of shimmery or golden highlighters you will not like this. I quite like it, but it is a little strong for daytime I think. I perfer a more subtle shade for everyday.

Here is the swatch. I had a hard time catching this shade in a photo, so this will just have to do for now.
At leas there you can see the golden tones in it.

I really like these blushes and I'm planning to get Peachy Keen and Candid Coral as well. Maybe I'll pick up one of the pinks as well. This blush costs $3 or £3.5 depending on where you get it from. If you get it from the EU/UK site like I have to it's £3.5. How ever it's still a very cheap blush.
It's got good quality and pigmentation. Sometimes I wish the highlighter shade was a little less pigmented, but it's easier for me to apply less than for someone who's darker to apply it over and over again to get some colour.

Definetly reccomended as well !

Review: H&M Silk Smooth Foundation

I decided to post another review today, just because I'm in a really good mood after I went bowling with some friends earlier today, and now I'll be going to my boyfriend to sleep over there.

This time the review is on this foundation:

It is from the Swedish clothingstore H&M which means this is avaliable in pretty much the whole world I think. I got mine for 39NOK when I bought it the first time, while I paid €1 the second time when it was on sale in Amsterdam this summer. It contains the regular 30ml / 1 oz as most other foundations do.

The foundation is very soft, and it says "new formula" on it, but I don't know if that's true anymore, because it's been there for forever. The formula is great though. It's easy to blend, and has a light to medium coverage I think. The shade-selection is not that great though. I have the lightest shade, and it matches me just fine. It's not perfect, but it's not that bad. It's perfectly usable. The formula is a little thick, so it doesn't slide around on your hand like my IsaDora and Maybelline foundations do.

The shade has some yellow undertones to it which is what I perfer for my skintone. I wish I had something I could compare this to, but I don't. I'm usually the lightest shade in everything, though, if that helps you.

When I got this I was a little afraid it would bother my skin and give me a break-out, but it didn't, and for a foundation this cheap that is awesome! For the packaging it's just a regular squeeze-tube. It's easy to handle, but I do perfer a pump. This doesn't leek or anything though.

In general I really like this for my normal, but acne-prone skin. It stays on when I set it with a powder which I always do. I really reccomend it, and you should definetly try it out, atleast for the price you can't really go wrong. And if the shade is a little off you can correct it with a powder or something.

Definetly a hit for me!

Review: IsaDora JellyKiss Lipsticks

Hello guys!

Today I will review these lipsticks by IsaDora. I have 8 shades, but there are only featured 7 here because I didn't find the other one when I was taking the pictures for this review. There are 12 shades in total.
Also, these are not regular lipsticks. These are gel-lipsticks. That means they are close to weightless, and you can barely feel them on your lips!

Here is the packaging. It looks very sleek and pretty with the mirror-ish packaging and the logo going around. They are magneting which means they will not open unless you take them apart which is a good thing. The magnet is broken on one of them though. Doesn't bother me that much either, really.
I think these are a little smaller than regular lipstick-tubes but they contain the same amount of product (about 4g)

This is the bottom on the packaging.
The shades I have is
50 Rainbow, 51 Bare Bliss, 52 Rose Blush, 53 Pink Parfait
54, Lilac Tulle, 56 Raspberry Sorbet, 58 Orange Blossom
I also have 55 Chic Cerise which is not in this post.

All of these lipsticks are cream finishes except 50 Rainbow which has a touch of shimmer to it.
An other thing I should mention is that these are semi-transparent. This means they are not supposed to be very opaque, they are just going to make your lips have a touch of an other colour. I do find some of them are more pigmented than others, though.
The shades are:
50 Rainbow, 51 Bare Bliss, 52 Rose Blush, 53 Pink Parfait
54, Lilac Tulle, 56 Raspberry Sorbet, 58 Orange Blossom

I LOVE these lipsticks! They are a great buy, great quality. Not the best lasting power, but I don't mind applying these again every now and then. The shade I've used the most lately is Rose Blush for two reasons.
1. The cap is broken so I kind of want to use it up.
2. It's the perfect "my lips but better"-shade for my lips!

They give some shine which you can see in the picture and they are very moisturizing. I will definetly repurchase these!

PS: As far as I know these are still avaliable, at least they were on IsaDora's website.

The Nailpolish Tag

Hey guys!
I saw this tag on camigmakeup4u2c and I though I'd do it, so here are the questions:

Q1: What is your favourite nailpolish company?
I am going to choose two companies. IsaDora and H&M.

Q2: Glitter or no glitter?
I really like the look of glitter, it looks great, but it takes forever to remove, so I usually go for no glitter.

Q3: OPI, China Glaze or Essie?
I've never tried neither of these companies.

Q4: When do you change your nailpolish?
It really depends... Sometimes I change it every day or everyother day, but I might go up to a week without changing it too...

Q5: What is your favourite colour to have on your nails?
I don't really have a favourite, but either Taupe by H&M or Cool Camel by IsaDora for a nude nail, It's genious M by H&M for bright pink nails or matte black. Any black colour with Hema Matte Topcoat.
I have so many nailpolishes and I love most of them, so that was a really though question!

Q6: Darks or Brights?
Depends on my mood. But I usually wear more darker colours in fall and winter and brighter colours in the spring and summer. But I do mix it up too.

Q7: What are you wearing on your nails right now?
I'm wearing a black nailpolish from Viva la Diva with Hema matte topcoat.

Q8: Matte Nails - yay or nay?
Well, obviously I like matte nails, haha

Q9: French Manicure?
Yeah, I do like it, but at the minute I feel like my nails are a little too short for it too look nice.

Q10: Favourite Winter Colour?
Wow, I really don't know...

I tag you all to do this if you like nailpolish,
and if you do, leave the link in the comments and I'll see what you answered!

Review: ELF Studio Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20

Today I'm doing a review on the ELF Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 20.
This is from the studio-range which means this cost $3 or £3.5. If you buy it from the Spanish site it's €3.50.
You can buy it from here (UK), here (US) and here (ES).

Here's the packaging.

On the UK site there are 7 different shades, and I got nude which is the second to lightest shade, but I should have gotten Porcelain which is the lightest. Nude is described as "fair to light with a neutral balace of yellow and pink" but this is a little to dark and a little to yellow, almost orange on my skin. That's wierd, because I usually use beige and yellow-toned foundations and they tend to mach my skin very well.

If you wonder what shades to get go to the UK site and read the descripitions, because the US site haven't written that down.

The packaging is a sqweezy-tube and it contains 20g/0.7oz of product which is about 2/3 of what a regular foundation contains. When you think about the price it's a nice amount, especially when you don't manage to pick out the right colour... Hopefully it will mach me better in the summer-months when I hopefully get a little bit of a tan. I can make it work now too, but it's just too much work and I do look a little strange.

As for the staying power and such it is very good.
I don't have a lot of experience with tinted moisturizers, but this is very nice. It didn't break me out, and I have acne-prone skin so that's great. I do want to mention that I have normal skin, and that I set it with a powder.
I've never actually try to wear it without setting it. The consistency is pretty thick though, as you can see, but at least for me, that's not a problem.

I really recomend this, but I would also suggest you get a shade lighter than what you think, because in my oppinion this shade isn't for fair to light, but rather light to medium...

If you want to try out a tinted moisturizer then this is cheap, and if you don't like it you wont waste to much product.

Mini Haul!

I got a couple of new things that I wanted to show you!

The first thing is this jewellery-storage thing. It's so pretty with the dress and it looks very classy and chick!
I thought this was so cool, and it was only 99NOK so I just had to have it!
You can store earrings, rings, neckaleces and bracelets on this and it looks so cool!

Next thing I got is these shoes.
They were 199NOK and they are so pretty!
When I got them though, I didn't know the flower came off, but it does, which makes the shoe even more awesome because you can change up the looks alot!
In the picture you can see the flower on the table. It has a clip in the black so it sits securely on your shoe.
I got mine in a EU size 38.

I decided to show you a few ways to put the flower on too, as well as what they look like on without the flower. I'm wearing them right now to wear them in, and I have to say, I really have to learn to walk in such high heels before I use them outside! I think the heels are 4.5 inches which is a lot taller than my other shoes. Plus the fact that these are pumps and there is nothing to really grip it to my foot. They are a tiny bit too big for me, but I did get a heel-pad though, in hope that it would grip better, but it didn't so that's a shame....
I'm still going to practise, practise, practise to walk nicely in them though!

Anyways. Here's the flower on the side.

Here's the shoes with no flower.

And here they are with the flower in the front.
This is how the flower was on when I got them, but the fact that you can take it of makes it so versatile!

I love these shoes, and I love the jewellery-thing too!

Does it really matter?

I know I haven't been blogging alot about makeup lately, and I'll be better, I swear, but I've just felt like talking about some other stuff lately. Like today.
I'm going to talk about gay people.
Bisexual people.
Non-hetero people.

And I basically have one question;
Does it really matter?

Does it matter whether someone likes boys or girls?

I'm going to be honest with you.
I'm bisexual, and I am still me. I'm still a person, and I like being bisexual.
Girls are hot. Boys are not as hot as girls, in my opinion at least.
But I am in love with a boy, and I don't plan to leave him for a girl either.

 Just two friends of mine.
They are both gay.
One of them is open while the other one is not.
But they love eachother anyways, because it just the personality that matters,
not the gender.

This is me and a friend of mine.
We are both bisexual, and we both have boyfriends.
Both our boyfriends are a little homophobic, too, but we don't care, because they're all people, they all have feelings and they have a right to love who ever they want.

Again, this is my opinion, but I felt like sharing it.

I have a lot of gay/lesbian/bisexual friends, and I love them so much! Really!
Some of them are stereotypes, and some of them are not.
The boy to the right on the top picture is a pretty feminine guy, while his boyfriend to the left is not.
I am not lesbian, but I have a friend who is and she's feminine too, you can't tell she likes girls.

And I also have a hetero girlfriend who is super "macho", so stereotypes are.... stupid!

Thanks for reading this, and let me know your opinion in the comments, because this is serious business to me, and a lot of my friends...
