We're moving in together! (Before Pictures)

My boyfriend and I have started moving! I'm so excited!

We aren't quite setteled in yet, but I'm hoping we will be during the weekend.
I just wanted to show you guys some pictures of our apartment before we started moving things inside, and I will make another post with before and after pictures when we're all done!

Here is our livingroom!
The reason the lamp and the thing for magazines and newspapers is there is because it was there when we moved in! Here we'll have a couch, TV, DVD/book-shelves and my boyfriend's computer-corner!

This is the kitchen. It's not really that big, but it's enough for just two people.

The bedroom! There is a mounted clothing-closed in a corner, and the matrass is going out as it's not ours.

Then there's the bathroom. It's actually quite big for an apartment this size!

Then there is this a storage-room. I'm thinking about keeping my makeup and such in here, as well as other hobby-things.

Another closet! Will probably keep suits, dresses, shirts and my "bunad" in here!
BTW: A bunad is the Norwegian National Costume!

Another storage unit in the apartment! Here we'll keep outer wear and shoes.

The other side of the second storage unit.

So yeah, that's out apartment! It's a little more stuffed right now, but I'll show you when we're done!
I'll probably film an apartment tour too, haha!

What do you think ?

Wishlist: eBay Shoes!

Ok, so I'm a shoe-addict! On top of that my feet are very wide and small (I'm a EU size 38 (US 7, UK 5)). I also have a high instep(?). This basically means that everytime I find shoes I love, and that fit (or I think will fit if I order online) I want so badly! On eBay there are so many dupes of awesome shoes, and I have already ordered a pair of fake JC Spike Litas which I'm waiting for as we speak!

But, there are so many more shoes I want from there. It is so cheap as well, so most shoes I can sell for the same price if they don't fit my feet. That's why I wanted to share this shoe-wishlist with you guys! All shoes from eBay, and prices and sellers are the ones in my watch-list. If you want another size or price (if you're from the US the prices/shipping are usually a lot cheaper for you. A lot of the time I have $30 shipping for a $10 shoe.... Really annoying! Anyways, here we go!

This pair I have been drooling over for forever it feels like!
I think the cheapest I have found was from the seller e4love, where the price is $19.99 (currently with a 5% off for 18.99) and a shipping to Norway for $9.99 which isn't bad. They are gorgeous, and this is the shade Apricot. They are also availiable in black.

Here are another pair of lita-lookalikes. The shade is Beige, but I think it's called apricot from some sellers as well. They are $24.99 with a 10% off at the moment. The shipping to Norway is $29.99, but I think it would be worth it, because they are gorgeous! The seller of these are *v*boots2shoes*v*.

These are from the same seller as above. The price and shipping is the same, but the shade is Taupe. These are currently sold out in all US sizes 7 through 8.5 though =(

These are some super simple low canvas shoes.
The reason I want these are because my fake converse are broken... I want these in both white and black, haha! They are $12.90 with free shipping (yay!) from wonderfulbuying36588 and they are also avaliable in gray.
'

Look at these beauties! I am willing to take a chance that these will not fit my high instep, just because if they fit, I will have a new love! They are obviously in black, but I would like the camel-color too, just because I don't have any brown shoes, and I think they would look good with a summer-dress and such. I would like these without the studs too, though! They are AU $29.98 (US $31.13) and AU $22.99 (US $23.87) from the seller urite. The seller has these shoes in black, camel and red (suede), and in the US sizes 4-8.

Yes, I'm obsessed with spikes, and yes, I love high heels!
As you can tell, most of them are dupes of jeffrey campbell shoes, haha!

Which ones are your favourites?

DIY Bracelets + Bracelet Holder!

I have ordered quite a few different styles of beads on eBay.. If you'd like to know the price and seller, you can check out my eBay hauls: #1 #2 #3.

Because of that I've been really into making bracelets, and here are the five I've made so far:

For this bracelet I've used Skull Beads, 3mm silver ball beads, 8mm rondelle beads with black rhinestones and 5mm silver round beads.

Here I've used 4x6mm rondelle crystal beads and 3mm silver round beads.

This bracelet is made of 5mm silver round beads and tibetan skull charm beads.

Here I've used 8mm rondelle beads with black rhinestones, 5mm silver round beads and Howlite Skull Beads.

For this last one I've used 2.4mm gold round beads and the black 4x6 rondelle crystal beads.

These are the two simpler bracelets I've made.

I know you can't see that well, but here are my skull bracelets.
Skulls have been everywhere lately, and buying bracelets with skulls on them are so extremely expensive, so I just decided to make my own!

Which bracelet was your favorite? =)

If you'd like an awesome DIY-way to store all of your new bracelets, why don't you just make the Bracelet Holder in the video below?

My Tattoo!

Ok, so as you can probably understand from the title, I have a tattoo.
I actually got it today, and it didn't really hurt as much as I though it would, but I did feel it when he kept going over the places he'd already tattooed. I did feel it most the further up the wings he got. He drew it by hand after some pictures I really liked, because I didn't want something everybody else has.

It looked really good, but I wanted him to make the belly bigger, so now it's a little bit of a fat dove which I really like! It took almost an hour, because he went over everything several times to make sure it was perfect.

I paid 1200NOK for it, which is aprox. £120, or $200. It is a little expensive, but I'm in love with it, so it was totally worth it. The studio I used was NeedleInk Tattoo and Piercing in Gran which is the town where I live.

I also had a friend film the prosess, so you'll get to see that when it's been uploaded HERE!
At the moment it's at 81%, so it probably wont take too long.

The reason I took my tattoo was my mother's mother who died 5 years ago on Easter Sunday(?). She had just turned 60 exactly 2 months ago, and it was a big shock when she died. We still do not know what it was, either, but now I have something to remember her by for the rest of my life!

What do you think?

FOTD - Dark Lips for Fall

I wanted to share my Face Of The Day with you guys today, and this is actually my 100TH POST, which is kind of exciting!
The look that I'm wearing today has been all over the runways for the F/W 2012/2013, and I really wanted to try it out. I wore this to school, but if it's not your thing, then try it out at home and see if you like it on your self! I actually quite like this look, and it was really fun with everyone turning around.

Yeah, call me an attention-whore, I don't care :)
I like being noticed... In a positive way, of course.

For my skin I used L'oreal Matte Morphose Foundation with an ELF stippeling brush, and a tiny bit of Nivea Ideal Finish powder on the same stippeling brush for a smooth and even finish.

On my lips I'm wearing Max Factor Colour Elixir Lip Liner in Mauve Mistress which is a super dark, almost brown or black reddish color. Over that to make the color a little ligher and more red I'm wearing Oriflame Hydracolor Lipstick in Wine which is a dark red wine shade.

I kept my eyes super simple and plain so it wouldn't look too much with the super dark lips.
I used a bit of the foundation a base, and some of a brown eyeshadow from my NYC Metro Quartet palette in Sand Bar in the crease, just super lightly. Then I used the light pink color from the same palette as a highlight on my browbone and in the inner corners.

This is the look I wore, and I hope you liked it!

For my outfit I wore something super simple; blue jeans, light yellow singlet and a black blazer!

Thanks for reading, I'll write you later!

First Impression: eBay Brush Set!

Just got these in the mail, and showing them all in the eBay haul where they belong would just make the video far to long, so I'm posting the pictures I took and some first impressions with the quality etc of the set.

Ok, so this is the brushroll  the set came in. I was pleasantly surprised because I didn't expect it to come with a roll. It is a lether-looking thing, and it smelt a little strange at first, but now, after it's been in free air, the smell is completely gone.

This is what it looks like inside. When it first arrived it had plastic tubes around every single brush, and it looked very neat. There is a flap to cover the "head" of the brush which is nice, and they stay very well in their compartments.

These are the first brushes in the set. There are a comb/brush, a mascara wand and two sponge-tip applicators, two angled eyeliner brushes with different width and length of the bristles, a regular eyeliner brush and a smudge-tip from - I guess - smudging eyeliner. The rest are concealer brushes in different shapes and sizes.

 Here there are more concealer-type brushes in all shapes and sizes;
angled, flufflier, flatter, smaller, bigger and so on and so forth. I know a lot of people like these brushes for applying eyeshadow as well. Then there's the flimsy little fanbrush in the middle.

More brushes! Yay!
One concealer brush, a huge concealer brush (or a small foundationbrush) and 4 powderbrushes in different styles. There is one angled contourbrush, a brushbrush, and two brushes with super long bristles as you'll see in the pictures further down.
Here are the same brushes, and the huge, badass fan brush in the end. It's enormous!

This is the coolest brush in the entire set! It's like a blending brush, but it's flat in the end.
If any of you know what this is really for, let me know, haha!

Here are the two first brushes of the bigger ones. You can see the one on the top is very slim, completely round, and the bristles are really long. The bottom brush is a little bigger and not as flimsy and I think it would work nicely with blush.

The angled brush and a bigger powderbrush.

 The enormous fanbrush!

These are a selection of the brushes in the set, I think it's about half of the set.

So I guess you're all curious about the price and the brushes and such, so I'll get to that now!
The brush was $15.00, so less that 50 cents a brush. That is a really good deal, but buying off of ebay you do take the risk of getting crap in the mail.

Luckily I was really lucky, and all the brushes are super soft! They do not scratch my face at all, and they're great! There's not the best variety with most of the brushes being concealer-type, even though they are different, it's the same type of brush. That doesn't really bother me though, because of several reasons:
  1. I don't have that many concealerbrushes.
  2. They work great with other products too: eyeshadows, creams etc.
  3. The smaller brushes also work great as lipbrushes. Maybe they're meant to be lipbrushes, I'm not sure of that, hahaha.
So all in all, I really like the brushset! I did win this in an auction, though, so I don't know if you can find it anymore from the seller I got it from, but if you search 32pcs makeup brush set or something similar, you'll probably find it !

I hope you enjoyed this little first impressions-video !

My wants from Jeffrey Campbell!

Ok, so celebrity-designer Jeffrey Campbell has been really blown up and wellknown for his shoes the last half a year or so, so I wanted to show you what I would love to own from his line!

The first one I will show you is the 99 Tie Spike. These are Urban Outfitters Exclusive, though, so it might be hard to find. They are totally awesome, though, and the fact that they are cheap - compared to in store in Norway (before tax, though, haha). They have free shipping on all orders over $50, and look how totally awesome they are! Retails for $178.00 at urbanoutfitters.com.

Next I'd love the regular 99 Tie too, just because they are a little lower and easier to walk in (I think) than the super tall Damsel's. Which I would also love to have, but I'm chosing to feature 99 Tie here because I think I would wear them more often because they are lower.
Retails for $114.95 at SoleStruck.

Then - as everyone else - I would love to own the Lita. I'd like the spike, the regular "leather" black and OMG, maybe everyone, haha! Here are the Silver Spikes in what I think might be leather. Real or fake leather - I don't know. Retails for $189.95 at SoleStruck.com
EDIT: Until I can afford the real deal, I've gotten a knock-off from eBay for $26 + $10 shipping!

Then there is the regular black Lita with the wooden heel. You can clearly tell I perfer black shoes!
Retail from $159.95 at SoleStruck.com

I also really like Foxy, they look so cool, and they too I would like in Black with Silver Spikes.
I do doubt these would fit my feet though, peeptoes rarely work very well with my feet because of the shape.
Retails for $174.95 at SoleStruck.com

There are probably plenty more shoes from him I'd like, but I don't know if I'd wear them, so I'm not including them here. I'm talking about NightWalks which are really cool, but a shoes that might be hard to walk on, especially here where I live...

Which shoe(s) is/are your favourite(s) from Jeffrey Campbell?
From these included here or any other ones you've seen!

Just A Beauty Tag!

I got this tag from http://thethoughtsbasket.blogspot.no, and if you want to read hers, click HERE

MAKEUP

Blush or bronzer? I seriously have no idea. I usually don't wear either. But because my cheeks usually are pretty pigmented and rosy, especially in the winter, I think I'll go with bronzer, or a warm-toned blush!

Lip gloss or lipstick? I do like lipstick for that super in-your-face color, and I don't really like lipgloss that much anymore, it's just a little too sticky, so I think I'll definetly go with lipstick.

Eye liner or mascara? Mascara, definetly! I wouldn't walk around with eyeliner and close to no-show eyelashes...

Foundation or concealer? Uhm, neither? Maybe foundation if I'm going to use one though. I usually use tinted moisturizer, but I guess it goes under one. A foundation can be applied in several layers if you want more coverage on a certain area of your face.

Neutral or color eye shadow? I usually go for natural shades for everyday if I'm wearing eyeshadow. It's just so easy to work with.

Pressed or loose eye shadows? I don't really own that many loose eyeshadows, so even though I like them too, I'm going with pressed. They're just a little easier to work with.

Brushes or sponges? Brushes all the way!

NAILS

Long or short? Short. I'm a nailbiter, it's horrible. It is a little on and of though. But for me short nails are pretty long too, if they reach my fingertips, I'm more than happy. I do prefer the look of long nails, but mine are - unfortunatly - short.

Acrylic or natural? Natural nails. My last blogpost was on a set of false nails, and by the end of the day they were off. Definetly a no-go.

Brights or darks? Both? Is that a valid answer?

Flower or no flower? No flower? I guess this thing has to do with manicure, but if I do anything fancy I place a nail-sticker on there. Easy and pretty!

BODY

Perfume or body splash? Perfume. It lasts so much longer than body splash/spray!

Lotion or body butter? I do use both, but I usually use lotion because it absobs into the skin quicker.

Body wash or soap? Liquid body wash.

FASHION

Jeans or sweat pants? Sweat pants are really comfortable, but jeans look way nicer, so I'm on jeans!

Long sleeve or short? Short sleeve. Long sleeves freak me out a little bit for some reason!

Dresses or skirts? Dresses, definetly! It's so simple just to throw on and look gorgeous with no effort!

Stripes or plaid? Plaid, I've never been particularly fond of stripes..

Flip flops or sandals? Flip Flops on the beach, sandals... never? I usually go for sneakers, ballerinas or high heels..

Scarves or hats? Scarves in the winter. Norway is so cold!

Studs or dangly earrings? Both. Really depends on the occation, but for everyday I usually wear studs.

Necklaces or bracelets? Necklaces. I have one necklace I use every single day, and I have been since Christmas of 2008 when I got it from my boyfriend. Haven't left my neck since!

Heels or flats? I <3 both! Heels just look smashing!

Cowboy boots or riding boots? neither...

Jacket or hoodie? Does a zipped hoodie go under jacket? Or is jacket outer-wear like a trench-coat?

HAIR

Curly or straight? I'm kind of in the middle. I do like the look of both super straight and really curly hair, but mine is a little straight and a little of a light curl.

Bun or ponytail? A high bun for work and school, it's a little easier just to throw up there. Ponytails look a bit nicer, so if I have to wear my hair up for an event I usually do a ponytail.

Bobby pins or butterfly clips? Bobby pins...

Hair spray or gel? The few times a year I have to use any of the mentioned I'll use hairspray.. Gel just looks greasy in my hair..

Long or short? Long hair :)

Light or dark? I have light-ish hair. It's a light brown, and I'm quite comfortable with it now, even though it would be fun to have super-bright hair some time too!

Side sweep bangs or full bangs? I have had both, but as off now I perfer side swept bangs. Full bangs are so warm!

Up or down? Half'n'half, haha

RANDOM

Rain or shine? Sunshine! Who would pick rain anyways?

Summer or winter? Summer! I'd much rather be to warm in +25 (the few times Norway has that kind of high temperature than be super cold at a -25-30 degrees which happends every winter here!)

Fall or spring? Spring! I love seeing the flowers blooming and the birds singing!

Chocolate or vanilla? Chocolate! I'm a choco-holic!

15 Weird Facts

What's a nickname only your family calls you? I don't really have a nick-name at all, haha

What's a weird habit of yours? Uhm... I don't really thing I have any super-wierd habits? I talk very much and very quickly, but I don't think that's too wierd? Except when my step-mom doesn't understand what I'm saying because I talk to fast, haha!

Do you have any weird phobias? Nope, I don't think so?

What's a song you secretly love to blast and belt out when you're alone? Random child-songs like the pokemon-intro ! (L)

What's one of your biggest pet peeves? Ugh.. Tough question! Probbly when someone starts to poke you for no reason like my boyfriend tends to do. He does things just to tick me off! Super annoying and it makes me want to kill someone!

What's one of your nervous habits? I bite my nails.. Gross!

What side of the bed do you sleep on? In the middle, but since my boyfriend and I have started looking for an apartment together, I'll probably sleep on the right side, haha

What was your first stuffed animal and its name? It was two. It was a bear named Bamsemums (Named after a bear-shaped marshmallow-candy with chocolate-coating) and a stuffed small rabbit with a dress named Malin.

What's the drink you always order at Starbucks? Mocca Frappuchino is the thing I've ordered the few times I've been at a Starbucks.. Norway only has one, and that is at arrival at the airport...

What's the beauty rule you preach, but never actually practice? Sunscreen, I don't wash my brushes as often as I should either. And I don't always remove my mascara before going to sleep...

Which way do you face in the shower? I face out into the room with my back against the shower.

Do you have any weird body skills? I can move my ears, move a muscle in my eye so you can see the inner corner moving, and make my fingers look like a wave-thing. If I remember I'll show it in a youtube-video some time and put it in below!

What's your favorite comfort food that's 'bad', but you love to eat it anyways? Chocolate, chips with dip, licorice, I LOVE licorice! Anything, basically!

What's a phrase or exclamation you always say? I have no idea, haha! If anybody who knows me reads this, let me know, haha!

Time to sleep - what are you actually wearing? I either sleep with just panties or in nothing at all. I love being naked, it's so comfy, ahha! Is that strange ? >.<

If you decide to do this tag, let me know and I'll read yours too =D

First Impression: Kiss Feather Light False Nails

Ok, so I went to the store today, and I got these falsed nails. They are from Kiss, and they are called FeatherLight. I got the Short length, but they are actually really long on my nails, so when I'm doing this again, I'll go for the Real Short option. So, under here you can see my nails as they were. They were super short, and not much fun at all.

Now, below you can see my nails after I put the fake ones on.
You can clearly tell they are superlong in comparison to my natural nails, and as I'm writing this I do struggle a little bit. I have only had them on for an hour though, so hopefully I'll get used to it.
When bugged me, though, was that since the nails have a french-tip design, the light pink part was close to clear, and you could see my natural nails, as well as the glue through the false nails.

Here is the package.
The set came with a manicure stick, pink nail glue and 24 nails in 12 sizes.

Because you could see though the nails I decided to paint them.
The golden colour is Molten by Miners,
and the darker colour is Autumn Feathers by Lumene

Right hand.

Left hand.

Over all I do like them, but I did expect the "short" ones to be shorter, because for me these are long.
On the package it says it will last for 7 days, so we'll see. I'll be working on sunday, so time will tell.
An other thing is I am seariously considering to cut them down a bit, because I don't know how I can work with such long nails. Other than they are OK.
There were plenty of sizes to choose from, and they were easy to put on.

As for the prize they were originally 99 NOK, but since the store had a 25% off all false nails-thing going on,   I got them for 74 NOK instead.

I do like these nails, but next time I will try to find a more opaque nail, and a shorter version.
Other than that they are worth the money, so unless they fall off during the next couple of days I will consider buying them again if they make this type in the "real short" option.

Thanks for reading guys!
