Wishlist: MAC Cosmetics

Here in Norway, MAC is crazy expesive... So I like to go on to the American website and drool over the products and prices avaliable. As an example the MAC foundations range around $30, plus/minus $5. Even the difference between the 50ml and the 120ml of MAC Face and Body is just $6 from $27 to $33!

I took the foundation finder on the MAC website, and was matched with the Matchmaster foundation in the shade 1.5 which is the next-to-lightest shade.

Other than that I would love to get my hands on the Face and Body in the shade White, which is just that; white. This is because as I am fair-skinned alot of drugstore foundations don't make shades light enought, and I would have loved to be able to make them lighter, but sadly, the white foundation is only avaliable in Pro-Stores, and there are none of them around me. Actually, there's none in Norway at all!

I'd also like a concealer with very good coverage as the Pro-Longwear or the Studio Finish concealers. For a powder I really want to try the MSFN because everyone RAVES about them, so I'm intrigued - are they as good as everyone says?

Copyrighted by me =)
I also have four MAC-eyeshadow in a quad I chose myself already. In the quad is Gesso, Blanc Type, Amber Lights and Espresso, so it's a very basic natural-eye quad. I would also really like a basic smokey-eye quad. For that I'd like Satin Taupe, Carbon, Nylon and a matte blending-shade, such as Copperplate or maybe Soft Brown, Cork or Wedge to warm it up a bit. I want to try All That Glitters and Ricepaper as well, because again, they're raved about alot.

For bronzer and eyeshadows I don't really want to pick anything because I never wear it. Same with mascara, I'm pretty sure I'd be fine with drugstore. For eyeliner I'd love to try the Black Trach Fluid Line.

Since I'm not a huge fan of lipglosses anymore, I'd rather have a good lipstick, like a great red. I think I would give Ruby Woo or Russian Red. I'd also like a lipliner, because I don't have a red lipliner, that's JUST red with no hit of orange or pink. For that I'd chose Cherry.

Got these beautiful swatches from henessy85.blogspot.com!

Last thing I can think of is blush, and I'd like a peach, coral or orange-toned blush, but since shades online are not very accurate, I'd just say I'd want a blush. Any suggestions?

I think that was a full face! Phuuuh!
Now, for the money it takes to get everything I mentioned!

Matchmaster Foundation 35ml - $33
Face and Body Foundation 120ml - $33
Pro-Longwear/Studio Finish - $18
Mineral Skin Finish Natural - $30
Satin Taupe e/s - $15
Carbon e/s- $15
Nylon e/s - $15
Copperplate/Soft Brown/Cork/Wedge e/s - $15
All That Glitters e/s - $15
Ricepaper e/s - $15
Black Track Fluid Line - $16
Ruby Woo/Russian Red - $15
Cherry Lipliner - $15
A Blush - $21

Subtotal: $271
Since I live in Norway, I can probably add atleast $100 more to that total to get my accurate amount, so it's safe to say I have to save ALOT or go to the US to get my MAC-wants, haha!
I could get them a little cheaper, however, because if you buy the refill eyeshadows instead of the ones in the pot they are only $11 instead of $15, saving me $4 per eyeshadow. Same goes for the blush which is $17 for the refill and $21 for the pot. If I do those adjustments I will save $4 x 7 which is $28!

FOTD - "Graduation" day!

Okay, it's not really my graduation-day, because we don't have that here like you do in the States. But we are going to dress up and get our diploma today, so that's cool! I thought I would show you what I'm wearing on my face today. I have to leave in 15 minutes, so I'll probably take a picture of what I used when I get back, but for now, this will have to do.

So, for today, we'll be wearing "bunad" which is out national-clothing. My "bunad" is called Vest-Oppland after where I live. It looks like this:

Now, let me tell you, this is an EXPENSIVE - yes, it needs capital letters - dress! Mine is worth abour 20-25 000NOK with the silver, shoes and everything else. It's made of wool and it's super hot, but luckily it's cloudy, haha. The silver can also vary, mine is not similar to the girl in the picture's. I'll see if I can take som outfit-pictures when I get back, haha!

Anyways, on to the FOTD!

I chose very natural eyes, so I have a matte brown in my crease and a taupe-color on my lid. Then a superthin liquid liner without a wing and some black mascara.

The rest of my face has a matte foundation and some concealer applied with my beauty blender, powder and a coral blush. My lips have a sheer lipgloss, just to get some sheen!

I have another, better, picture, but it refuses to upload the right way, it's just sideways! so annoying.

Decided to show you my nails as well! As the "bunad" needs so much attention I decided to go for a matte grey manicure.
I used Kiss Mineral Smoothie Basecoat, H&M Nail Polish in "Daisy" and ELF Matte Finisher.

Here are my nails. It the most natural nailcolor I have, since I used up my H&M polish in taupe, hah.

That was it guys, now I need to get moving, so I'll see you later! Thanks for reading, and again, remember to follow my blog if you please.

Also, I have my own facebook "fan"-page where all posts and videos are posted!

Lippie of the Week #3

A little over due, but there's still plenty of days left to be using this week's lippie!

This week I chose No7 Liplicious, which is a regular lipgloss.

The shade I chose is Marshmallow, and I believe I got this in a set from Boots a while ago.

The shade is a light, natural pink with some golden shimmer to it. It will fit nicely with most makeup and outfits, and that's why I chose it for this week, as I'm going to my graduation today, and I'm also working all weekend, so it has to work with that too. Both for my graduation and for work I perfer natural colors as supposed to a bright pink or dark red.

Now let's hope I don't loose this too as I did with the last LotW! I haven't found it again either, so it probably disappeared off the face of this earth, hah!

Thanks for reading!

Makeup Products I've Hit Pan On!

As of right now, the products in the picture below is what I've hit pan on, or I'm almost running out of, even if there's no pan to hit as with the foundations and such. I have previously hit pan and used up several other products, but these are the ones I currently have.

My assembly of products I'm running out of.

For the face-products first. I'm so close to the end of my IsaDora Perfect Cover Stick which you can see on top. It's part of my project 30 pan, but once I got to where it is now, it doesn't seem to go lower, no matter how I use it! Then there's the H&M Silk Smooth Foundation. It's really cheap, but it's surprisingly good, and it doesn't break me out. The color I have is the lightest avaliable, but it is quite dark. The other one is a Skin79 BB Cream-sample thingy that's almost gone. I think there's one or two more applications left, and it's going in an empties-video!
On the bottom is the rest of my ELF Essentials Blush in Glow. I hit pan so bad it was really hard and time-consuming to get any more product out, so I smashed it up and put it in a little jar. Seems it got more pigmented too, as it's easier to pick up the product.

Here are the two ELF-eyeshadows I've hit pan on. To the left is the ELF Duo Eyeshadow in Black Licorice and to the right is the ELF Brightning Eye Color Quad in Drama which is basically a smokey-eye palette. On the bottom is a Maybelline ColorSensational Lip Liner in the color 440 Coral Fire. The lipliner is geat, because you can turn it red by applying a red gloss or orange by putting an orange gloss on top.

Then I've also hit pan on a few more eyeshadows. The highlighter shade to the left is by Max Factor, but I was stupid and didn't save the name when I depotted it. It's just a standard skin-tone shade with a sheen but no visible shimmer. The brown eyeshadow is from my NYC Metro Quartet-palette in sandbar, and it's the right one of the two brown-shades in the palette. The other one I've also used up. Then the palette is Wet n Wild's Comfort Zone palette!

Here's my Manly 120 Eyeshadow palette, and the matte white eyeshadow in the corner is the only one I've hit pan on. As a very fair-skinned girl I can get away with a stark white highlight, hehe. Then the skintoned-color is from my Sersell 88 Natural Palette, and so is the black shade.

Is it obvious that I LOVE hitting pan? When you have so much makeu it just feels amazing!

Then there's these. These are a few products that I'm so close to hitting pan on, but it's just not all the way there yet. Left to right is my ELF Complexion Perfection (now Tone Correcting Powder) in Cool, ELF Duo Cream Eyeshadow in Black Licorice and the white color in the palette you can't really tell, but there's a huge dent in it! It's by Max Factor, but again, I don't have the shade name/number. The Tone Correcting Powder I've previously used up another before, as well as other powders from ELF as well!

That was all the stuff I'm close to using up!
Thank you so much for reading, guys.
What did you hit pan on last?

My Sweden-Haulage!

yeahs, I went to Sweden with my brother today, and even though he was nagging me to leave, I still managed to purchase some stuff. The trip from me is 2.5-3 hours one way, so it takes a while, but the savings are massive, at least for me with my beauty-girl habits, haha!

I decided I wanted to show you what I bought, so here it is!

This clock I was drooling over the last time I went to Charlottenberg as well, but it was quite expensive at 498SEK. When I was there now it was half price, so I decided I had to get it.

It is a superpretty chuncky rosegold watch, and I fell in love! It also came with the little bracelet to the left.

I also bought these three facewashes. To the left is Garnier Nordic Essentials Face Wah, then the Face: UK Facial Wash and Clearasil Daily Clear Daily Gel Wash. I have tried one of the other Clearasil face-washes, but I wasn't really a fan of it. I figured this would maybe be better, and I like the fact that you can see through and tell how much product is left.

These are three of the bodylotions I got. I'm working on my next-to-last lotion, so I decided I'd have to pick up some more. I got the three scents avaliable in Cotton Breeze, Mango Mandarin and Calm Aloe Vera. They all smell very nice, but I'd say Cotton Breeze is the one to choose if you like wearing different perfumes all the time as it doesn't smell any more than fresh.

I got three more, one in Coconut (I love the smell of coconut!), a Cocoa Butter Cream Lotion and a Aloe Vera Body Lotion. The last one mentioned smells ALOT!

I also got a couple of hair-treatments. To the left is Garnier Respons for very dry hair, and then there's Syoss, which is a brand under schwarzkopf, and it's the Smooth-one with 24H anti-frizz effects.

I also got a face lotion, and this is by Gunry. It's with olives, and it's just a regular daycream. To the right is Gunry's Makeup Remover Wipes, which claims to remove waterproof makeup, as well as contain a cleanser, toner and lotion for a one-step-makeup removal.

I had to pick up a few makeup items so I got these powders from Kubiss which is an English brand. They had four different colors, and I decided to get them all as they were cheap, and I'm close to hitting pan on my last pressed powder!

Here's the names if you can tell.
No1 - Translucent
No2 - Candle
No3 - Sweet Touch
No4 - Dreamland

I tried the shade Translucent on my face and it seemed okay, it wasn't powdery, and it looked like it mattifyed my face. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the fact that you take the entire lid off, like with the powders from Rimmel, e.g. Stay Matte. Some of the lids are also very hard to get off, so I can imagine myself dropping these noumerous times.

Last thing I got was this Lingonberry Lip Laquer from Lumene. It's in the shade 4, and it's a really pretty red color. I've used it twice already, and the color-payoff is great! It's really pigmented, and it doesn't really dry down. It's a little sticky, but not so much that it's annoying.

Here you can see the color. That's what it looks like on the lips, guys!

I also picked up some candy, Loka and Ramlösa, some soda and some meat, but I decided to show my gum as a metafor for all of that, haha! One thing I was excited to try are the "Loka Likes Old-School"-tastes of water. There were three avaliable in "Lemon Pie", "Strawberry Ice Cream" and "Chocolate Shake". The Lemon Pie-flavour was intersting. I really liked it, but my hubby didn't. I want wait to taste the chocolate-flavoured one. Can you imagine Chocolate-water being any good? Nope, me neither...

Anyways, that was what I had today, so I will see you again soon =)
Thank you so much for reading, and remember to follow my blog as well to keep up to date with new posts!

iHerb.com Haul ft. ELF, Queen Helene, Bare Fruit and more!

Yay, I finally got my packages from iHerb today! Yes, packages, plural, hehe. BTW, everything here was purchased by me with my own money.
You can also just click the names and it will bring you to the page of the item for easy purchasing.

Here's everything I got! I did get 5 packages of the Bare Fruit Cinnamon Apple Chips, because I love them! Then, for non-beauty items I got the Walden Farms Chocolate Dip which is calorie, carb, fat, gluten and more things-free. I heard a lot of good things about it on some Norwegian forums, so yeah. Then "The Vice-Busting DIET" was a freebie. With each order from iHerb you can choose a freebie from their freebie-section.

As for the beauty-stuff I got the Sierra Bees Organic Vanilla Lipbalm as my 2nd freebie. Then I ordered the ELF Daily Moisture Sick, ELF Blush Brush, ELF Mineral Powder Brush, ELF Mineral Infused Face Primer in Clear and the Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque, which I've heard so much about on youtube! The Face Primer I've also used before, and I finished it so I thought I would get it another one because I liked it so much. It's pretty much just your standard silicione-based primer.

Here you can see the ELF Blush Brush campared to my ELF Complexion Brush which it's pretty much just a smaller size of. I think it will be strange to use this type of blush brush as I've been so used to the Sigma Powder/Blush Brush (F10) for my blush, but we shall see.

Then there's the ELF Mineral Powder Brush. I thought this would be a dupe of the before-mentioned F10 from Sigma, but as you can tell in the picture, it is soooo much SMALLER! On the packaging it states the small size is to make higher coverage and also allow the brush to reach hard-to-reach areas, but I was still stunned when I saw how tiny it was. The reason I wanted a dupe for my Sigma brush is because it sheds. All of my Sigma-brushes do, so I perfer my ELF ones which as supersoft! I haven't washed my new brushes yet, so I'm hoping maybe the mineral powder brush will be a little bigger and fluffier afterwards.

Those were my new things, you guys! As for the prices, the ELF Face Primer and Moisture Stick was $6, the two brushes were $3 and the Mint Julep Masque was $4.87, but it is currently on sale for $3.84. The lipbalm was a freebie, but it retails for $1.95. The DIET-book was $19.95, but again, it got it for free. The chocolate dip is $4.39, but on sale for $3.76, and it still is on sale. The chips were $2.99 and are now on sale for $2.70. I did get 5 bags of the chips, haha!

Shipping was $4 for each package, which is really affordable!

Thanks for reading guys, I really appreciate it =)
Remember to follow my blog, too, that would make my day!

My Current Everyday Makeup-Items

I don't quite know what to call this post, because it's not really my current makeup-items, it's more of a "what I want to use for the next while"-post. Any ideas? Please let me know!

Anyways, on to the items!

I'll start of with the lippies!
The lipliner is Maybelline ColorSensational Lipliner in 440 Fire Coral, the pink lipstick is Maybelline MNY Lipstick in the shade 802A which was limited edition with the Material Girl Collection. The lipstick is great, too, it's really smooth and creamy but also very pigmented.
The two lipglosses are from YSL. The pink one is a Pure Lip Gloss in 4, and the golden shade is a Golden Gloss in 54. Then of course, I can't live without a lipbalm, and I chose Carmex, which is what I've been using at daytime. On the bottom is a IsaDora Twist-Up Gloss Stick in 08 Romantic Red which I actually got on saturday. The same thing goes for the YSL Lipglosses.

For my eyes, I've chosen the Wet n Wild Comfort Zone palette, as well as a self-made little thing with a few eyeshadows in it as well. The nude/brown duo is from visions, the pink/charcoal duo is from H&M. The highlight-color is from Max Factor, and the last shade is from NYC Metro Quartet Eyeshadow Palette in Sandbar. I've used up the other shades except the purple, which is why it's not it the palette anymore.

Below that is my Gosh Serious Volume Mascara, H&M Liquid Liner; both in Black. For my primer I'll be using the ELF Eyelid Primer in sheer which is nearly finished, and the kohl-pencil is L'oreal Contour Kohl in Jet Black.

And then there's the face-items!
I have two blushes, one shimmery and one matte. The matte blush is ELF Mineral Blush in Coral, and the shimmery one is ELF Essentials Blush in Glow, but it's not the same now as it was when I got mine. You can tell I've used it alot as there's nearly nothing left in the pot, haha! I also have tgree concealers, the Missha Style Perfect Concealer and IsaDora Perfect Cover Stick for my blemishes and Garnier Anti-Dark Circles Roll-on for my undereyes. For a primer it's the only one I have at the moment; Nivea Daily Essentials Express Hydration Primer. I have one BB Cream and a foundation too, if I want to change it up, and the Skin79 Diamond Collection BB Cream is a good one-step products as it has SPF in it. I chose L'oreal Matte Morphose Foundation because it's matte. I don't like a dewy face. Last things are my powder, and I have one translucent powder which is the ELF Complexion Perfection. This is now called "Tone Correction Powder" and the color I have is Cool. The other I have is my ELF Mineral Foundation in Light which is good if I just want a natural look. That too has an SPF of 15.

Here are the swatches for the palette with loose eyeshadows.
Top left is the highlighter, next to it the NYC shade. Then there's the pink/charcoal duo and the nuse/brown duo.

On the Comfort Zone palette I've done a full review which you can read HERE if you'd like to know more! Since the review was done I've actually hit pan on the browbone-shade to the left. I just noticed this morning, haha, I was so excited!

The swatches are left to right:
Maybelline Lipliner, MNY Lipstick, YSL Pure Gloss, YSL Golden Gloss, IsaDora Twist-Up Gloss Stick.
Under that is my ELF Essentials Glow blush and ELF Mineral Blush in Coral.
Then there's the two eyeliners - L'oreal Contour Kohl in Jet Black and H&M Liquid Eyeliner in Black.

I actually forgot to take pictures of the face-products, but I will add that in the morning! It's almost 3am here now, and I'm a little tired, haha! In the meantime, I just just write them down here:
L'oreal Matte Morphose Foundation
ELF Mineral Blush - Coral
ELF Essentials Blush - Glow
Nivea Daily Essentials Express Hydration Primer
ELF Complexion Perfection Powder - Cool
Missha Style Perfect Concealer
Garnier Anti-Dark Circles Roll-On - Light
Skin79 Light Pink BB Cream
ELF Mineral Foundation - Light

Yeah, on we go, almost done now!

For my perfume I'll be using Escada Taj Sunset which I love! Sadly, this waws Limited Edition in 2011, so it's not avaliable anymore...

And here are all my things all neatly put away in a basket that has it's own little place on my desk.

Thank you so much for reading, I really appreciate it!

I just realized I haven't done an update here on my blog since I let you know I was doing a P30P in the beginning of May!

Anyways, here's a little update for you guys, as I'm almost done!

Here's my list of products that you also saw in my last Project 30 Pan post! As you can tell, there's a lot more checkpoints now than when I did that post.

Here's the inside of my box of Project Empties. It's pretty full, so luckily the things I have left are pretty tiny.

  1. Isadora Perfect Coverstick - Light
  2. Miners Voluptulash Mascara - Black
  3. Max Factor Kohn Pencil - Black
  4. L'oreal Superliner Carbon Gloss - Carbon Black

  27. "Blistex" Lipbalm (refilled the container)
  28. Garnier Eye Roll-on
  29. TCW Lipgloss Palette
  30. Biotin Hairspray
All things in bold writing has been used up!

Here are the things I have left. The brown shade I've hit pan on pretty bad as you can tell. The Eyelid Primer is almost gone, and I've taken the stopper out. As for the Roll-On, I think I've ised up 2/3, but I can't really tell through the packaging.

As you can tell the concealerstick from IsaDora and Maybelline Lip Liner are almost gone as well, so I'm excited!

If Ihaven't finished all of my Project 30 Pan items within the 15th of July, I'm done as I'm going to Gran Canaria, Spain on the 17th and I want to be able to buy makeup if I see something I like! I do hope Ill be able to finish everything though, but probably not the eyeshadow.... Maybe I'll finish the Garnier Roll-On if I start to use it more than twice a day as I am now.

Thanks for reading guys!
If you have any requests, then let me know, as always =)

Holika Holika Aqua Petit BB Cream
Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector
L'oreal Nude Magique BB Cream
MUA BB Cream
Skin79 VIP Gold Collection Super+ BB Cream
Skin 79 BB Diamond Collection Pearl Luminous BB Cream
Skin79 BB Diamond Collection The Prestige BB Cream

I have the same BB Creams in the same places in both pictures. They were taken with the same camera and blitz right after eachother, but they still look different, so I wanted to show both.

On the left side of my forehead I'm wearing L'oreals BB Cream, but I didn't blend it all the way because that would make it way to dark. On the right side of my forehead is Garniers BB Cream. On the top of my right cheek is MUAs BB Cream, while I have the Skin79 Hot Pink BB Cream on the lower part of my chin and jawline. On my chin I have the Holika Holika BB Cream and the Gold Skin79 BB cream is on my lower left cheek and jawline. On the rest of my cheek is the Light Pink BB Cream, also from Skin79.
I used the last BB Cream, the Pearl Louminous from Skin79 as a bit of a highlight on my nose and cheekbones.

I quite like all of these BB Creams, but the MUA BB Cream is by far the hardest to blend. The Aqua Petit BB Cream is a great color for me, but it is a little hard to work with on my normal skin, I think it would definetly work better on people with oily or combination skin. It does work nicely when I'm wearing a primer, but it does need a little bit of work.

The rest of the BB Creams are really good, and I do like them all for different reasons. I love the finish and texture of the L'oreal BB Cream, but it is a little too dark. I have the light-shade as I mentioned, and when I compared it to the medium it was actually more orange. I'm seariously looking into getting the fair-shade online since I like the formula so much.

Garnier's BB Cream has a very dewy finish so I have to set it with a powder, but it is good for everyday. I really want to try the oil-free version which I've heard is great, a little lighter in shade and also a lot longer lasting. A complete different formula than this. I like this too, though.

All of the Skin79 BB Creams are pretty much the same texture except the one in the silver packaging which is a luminous BB Cream with shimmer in it. You can clearly see the shimmer in the swatches above. For me it's not a good BB Cream as I don't like a shimmery face, but it is a really beautiful and natural highlighter!

As with the Overview - My Foundations-post there is a video to go with this post, and I will link it here when it's uploaded.

If you'd like a full review of any of these BB Creams then let me know and I shall do that as quickly as possible =) Thanks for reading, and remember to follow my blog!

Escada Cherry in the Air

I just can't seem to make up my mind about this perfume.

I have all the 4 recent perfumes from Escada, and I love them all, but this one I just can't decide wether I like it or not.

Here are the other Escada-perfumes I have.
Taj Sunset 100ml (LE 2011), Rockin' Rio 50ml (LE 2012)
Island Kiss 30ml (LE 2012), Sexy Grafitti 30ml (LE 2012)

The reason there were three Limited Editions in 2012 was because Escada had their 20-year anniversary. I love them all, and as you can see I've used more of Taj Sunset, both because it's been used for a year longer, and because it's the one I'm currently using. All of these smell amazing, and Taj Sunset and Rockin' Rio smell pretty simiar. With these I fell in love instantly, but that's not the case with Cherry in the Air. I do want it, but I think it might be more as a collector-thing than a "I love the smell"-thing.

The notes of Cherry in the Air are:
Top Notes: Black Cherry, Juicy Raspberry, Mandarin
Heart Notes: Gardenia Petals, Coconut Orchid, Warm Vanilla, Marshmallow
Base Notes: Sandalwood, Oak, Musk, White Suede

What do you think of  Cherry in the Air LE 2013?
Love it or hate it?
